Itinerary
- 8.00 – 8.30: Pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter area 8.45: We start the trip by visiting the Tran Quoc Pagoda – was first built in Hanoi in 6th century. You will see the oldest Bodha Tree in Vietnam planted by Ho Chi Minh. - 9.15: Next place for visit ‘Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum’ the final resting place of the beloved Vietnamese hero, Uncle Ho (inside tours available). At about 10:30am we will take a visit to the ‘One Pillar Pagoda’, an ancient historic temple. - 11.00: After lunch we have 2 options for visit Option 1 : Bat Trang ceramics & pottery village (On Mondays – Wednesdays – Fridays ) Option 2 : Vietnam Museum of Ethnology (On Tuesdays – Thursdays – Saturdays & Sundays) - 12.30: We have lunch at local restaurant with local Vietnamese food. - 13.30: We shall visit the world famous ‘Temple of Literature’ (constructed in 1070 - dedicated to Confucius, sages and talented scholars). It is the most famous temple in Hanoi, also functioning as Vietnam's first university and one of the first in the world!!! - 15.45 : Leaving for Hoan Kiem Lake to visit Ngoc Son Temple where worships General Tran Hung Dao who defeated Mongolian invader in 13th certury. -16.15 : Tour finishes. Back to hotel

The itinerary is not the greatest. However, the tour guide Son did a very good job as a tour guide. The price is good. Son’s explanation about the lifestyle of the North and the South is fascinating. The Tran Quoc Pagoda is beautiful. Hoa Lo Prison aka “Hanoi Hilton” is at least now more about how the French colonists tortured and killed Vietnamese freedom fighters than about American prisoners. Be sure to get an email confirmation from the local tour company about pickup point asap!
We had so much fun with our tour guide QA, he showed us most of the historical places and explaning it in detail. We had lunch at the old centre and the food was delicious. We reccomnend QA to all your future customers, he has done a job well done! All the best..

Our guide, son, was incredibly helpful and friendly. He took us to Train Street and then to a really nice bar for a local drink. Has very good trips to different places. Friendliness and helpfulness at the top!

I had a really good time on this tour as a I was visiting Hanoi for the first time. It gave me a good general knowledge of Hanoi and its history. The best city tour I can say. In just one day, it covers the main essence of whole hanoi & it is exactly what we as tourists need. The one I cant forget is the Mausoleum Ho Chi Minh visit. The best & great tour indeed.
