100% would recommend

We had an absolutely wonderful day exploring Hà Nội with our guide Devin, and we couldn’t recommend him or the tour more highly! We happened to pick a day when there were visiting foreign dignitaries in the city, which meant the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum was closed to tourists — something completely out of anyone’s control. But Devin handled it like a true professional, pivoting seamlessly to an equally enriching alternative without missing a beat. It’s exactly those unplanned moments that reveal the quality of a guide, and Devin passed with flying colours. His knowledge of Hà Nội’s history, culture, and hidden gems was genuinely impressive — the kind of depth that goes well beyond a rehearsed script. He made the entire day feel personal and engaging, and his warm, friendly nature made us feel at ease from the very first moment. As a bonus, Devin has a fantastic eye for photography and captured some truly beautiful shots of us throughout the day — photos we’ll treasure long after the trip. If you’re visiting Hà Nội, do yourself a favour and ask for Devin. Absolute gem of a guide
