Amazing location - Halong bay is gorgeous! "Highlight activities" one after the other, lovely staff, good boat, lovely night on the water :) Yet you're on a timetable, often feeling rushed during the day, with underpaid staff & some trash floating around. ... Would suggest a longer cruise than 2 days (1 night), otherwise if you're transferring from eg Hanoi, you'll spend longer in transit than swimming/kayaking/cycling.
A lovely cruise on Ha Long, a lot of included activities and a lot of fun. We enjoyed our spacious cabin, the scenery, the great food and the very nice staff. The boat was just the right size, and we had good travelling companions. The fish nibbling our feet experience was unexpected but great. The only minor downside was the expensive booze on board, but we could see this was where the co. made its money. Bring your own discreetly if you fancy a beer in your cabin!
A nice cruise, a trip on the quiet water with fun activities really matching the description. Very pleasant guide sharing his love for his island and various meals of good qualities...
Perfectly organized cruise Comfortable boat with a small group Quality activities and excellent meals Good value for money
I was on a boat a little more luxurious than this one, with bathtub overlooking the bay, slides... The boat was very good. The food very good and hearty. The activities very nice, guide too. It was perfect.
Super nice tour with small group. Fantastic food, great tour guide. Highly recommended. We will definitely come back.
Super go experience. Although it rained a bit when we were going to ro kayaking it cleared up to sunshine and was a fantastic trip. Cute and helpful staff and guide. However, I wish that we also had a tie in the evening and saw the blue shining algae. However, the water is not so pure due to the many boats and the corals are gray and dead.
The room is small and all made of wood. Looks pretty old. The difference is the employees who are sensational. They are extremely dedicated and always willing to help. The excursions off the boat are legal and the crew assistance as well. I really liked the Service.
Had a really great time aboard! Our guide and staff were really friendly and helpfufl and always eager to make the stay enjoyable to the last. Food aboard was delicious and the activities were great fun and with some interesting facts about Vietnamese culture. The rooms were equipped with all necessities and had really big windows to enjoy the landscape. Also the group size was really comfortable as the boat wasn't too big.
Beautiful cruise: night in the bay, kaiak, swimming, cycling on the island of Cat Ba, small group, good atmosphere. Big downside on both rooms: one stuck between two engines: unbearable smells of fuel, uninhabitable room, we put the mattresses in the other room. The other room, positioned against the engine of the boat that worked all night for electricity on the boat and that makes more noise than in an airplane... in short it ruined our stay while we paid more than 130€ per person!!!
