Half-Day Upper Colorado River Float Tour from Kremmling
Description
This wonderful Colorado River float trip is a gently flowing section that is inviting to all ages. You’ll encounter a few small rapids as the Colorado River winds through the Gore Range and Mountain Ranchland. This is a relaxing day with time to sunbathe, swim or just relax and enjoy the day on your Colorado River rafting trip. The Colorado float half day trip is available two departures per day. This trip departs from our Kremmling Outpost, where you will check in and load an AVA vehicle for the 30-minute drive to the Colorado River. We run from Pumphouse Recreation Area to Radium on this trip. This takes place on the hear to of the upper colorado, the perfect raft trip whether you're coming from Winter Park, Steamboat Springs or Breckenridge.

This is our third year to use AVA and our experience has been consistently wonderful. The guides are great with kids and make everyone feel safe and comfortable. This is an annual highlight of our vacation in Colorado. Highly recommend!

We completed a family raft ride while visiting Colorado. The ride from Vail was a bit long than we thought. We had a wonderful experience. Our guides Kayla and Riley, kept us safe, made us laugh and shared numerous facts with us..
Our tour guide Jackson was fantastic. He kept it interesting with fun facts about the scenery and surrounding area. Check in was smooth and easy. We did the half day float, so very mild rafting experience for first timers. Would highly recommend as a great way to spend the afternoon.
It was a gorgeous easy float down the Colorado River with some small rapids. Some of the guests enjoyed jumping off the rocks but too cold for us to do it
It was uniquely personal as we were the only 2 guests. Weather was perfect, guide was very pleasant & knowledgeable. We saw plenty of wildlife & greatly enjoyed our day

Drove over one hour to the meeting point only to be greeted by locked doors. Local guide cancelled our trip WITHOUT notifying us. Tour operator NEVER notified us. Wish I could rate ZERO stars.

We understand how disappointing it must have been to arrive and find the doors locked without any prior notice. Our guide, Isaiah was fantastic! He pointed out a lot of history about the area in general on our bus ride before we hit the river and he was a great informant about the river too once we got in the water! Wonderful, scenic, pleasant journey down the river! Loved it!!

We had a great time. I had messed up the date and they were great and accommodates. Jackson was our guide and he was awesome. This was definitely a float so if you want rapids, there are a few but very beginner friendly. Thank you for fun day!!
