nice preserved village

This is an interesting village founded by Mr.Shen. It is traced and shared with the Chen clan in Taiwan. There are about 200 households here but majority of the houses have been emptied. the village is characterized by houses built during the Ming and Qing dynasty with curved swallowtail red tile roofs and stone wall. All the houses are built facing north and the rest which are later built in the 60 and 70 are facing south. Between the two houses are side door facing each other so when all are open one can run from one end of the village to the other far end There are some Banyan trees along the riverwhich are mnore than 300 years old. On a well lit sunny day this scene is quite beautiful
