The Alcázar of Toledo is a stone fortification located in the highest part of Toledo, Spain. Once used as a Roman palace in the 3rd century, it was restored under Charles I (Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor) and his son Philip II of Spain in the 1540s. In 1521, Hernán Cortés was received by Charles I at the Alcázar, following Cortes' conquest of the Aztecs. Most of the alcázar was rebuilt, or restored, between 1939 and 1957 after the Siege of the Alcázar of the Spanish Civil War.
The Primate Cathedral of Saint Mary of Toledo is a Roman Catholic church and it is the seat of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Toledo. (entrance/interior visit is not included) The cathedral of Toledo is one of the three 13th-century High Gothic cathedrals in Spain and is considered, in the opinion of some authorities, to be the magnum opus of the Gothic style in Spain.

Not words to describe an amazing city as Toledo, our guide Alejandro shows very well the city!
Toledo is great 👍 👌 . Even when you are visiting with a guide, Alejandro guide was very helpful and professional 👍
We have spent a great time all our members of our family, with the guide Alejandro!
Jose Luis was a fantastic tour guide! Answered questions that we had before and after we explored the beautiful city of Toledo. Both he and the city were so interesting! Highly recommend!
Everything was fine. Professional guides. The tour on the way was a little brief; however, it was very good.
Toledo is a small jewel. it represents an important part of the history of Spain. It also demonstrates the coexistence of different cultures, which is why it is nicknamed the city of three cultures: Christian, Jewish, and Muslim. As recommended by the guide, it is advisable to spend at least one night here.
The tour was well organized with ample time to stroll and enjoy some fun shopping and delicious tapas! Highly recommended!
Ramirez is the best tour guide🌹👏😍
If you do the half day tour, don’t get a guided tour. Too much talk and slow going. Use the bus they provide to get to Toledo easy and enjoy. We would suggest the longer tour but it was 95 degrees and 1/2 day was enough. Go in the spring or fall and enjoy. Parking is hard in those places and the bus ride was perfect. Beautiful city with so much history.
a wonderful experience! a comfortable commute with a splendid and kind tour guide! even though it was a few hours, a lot was learned and i liked how we had over an hour of free time to explore the area :)
