Itinerary
Hotel Pickup: Guests are picked up from their hotel in Manaus according to the time chosen in each booking, in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle.
The Manaus Waterfront: A scenic navigation through the Manaus waterfront leads to the port, passing landmarks such as the industrial district, fish market, boat terminals, and riverside neighborhoods.
Meeting of the Waters: Witness the stunning natural phenomenon where the dark waters of the Rio Negro meet the sandy-colored Solimões River without mixing for kilometers.
Floating Village: Visit a traditional Amazonian floating village to glimpse daily life on the river. Step into a world where homes drift gently atop the Amazon River, forming a resilient and resourceful community known as a floating village. These villages are built on buoyant wooden platforms, allowing them to rise and fall with the seasonal rhythms of the river.
Spot exotic animals like pink river dolphins, monkeys, and sloths during the sail through the small rivers and tributaries of the Amazon
Janauary Lake is a serene floodplain lake nestled in the heart of the Amazon, where visitors can glide beneath towering trees during the rainy season and marvel at the iconic giant water lilies, known as vitória-régia
Stroll through the lush Amazon rainforest on elevated wooden bridges that wind above the forest floor, offering a safe and immersive way to explore the jungle’s vibrant ecosystem. Along the way, spot colorful birds, playful monkeys, and perhaps even sloths nestled in the canopy, while your guide points out medicinal plants, towering trees, and exotic flowers that thrive in this biodiverse paradise.
Glide through the mystical flooded forests of the Amazon aboard a motorized canoe, weaving between submerged tree trunks and towering vegetation that rises from the water. This unique ecosystem, known as “igapó,” is accessible only during the rainy season, when the forest floor disappears beneath the river. As you navigate the tranquil waters, you’ll spot wildlife like herons, monkeys, and caimans, and marvel at the surreal beauty of trees reflected perfectly in the mirror-like surface. After that, we will head back to Manaus.

Worth it. This was a private tour (just me and my son) with a delightful guide and a boat driver. We saw some interesting things on the river and in the jungle including river dolphins, huge fish, two types of monkey, a snake, etc. There was a glimpse of a pink dolphin but I was too slow. We chose a 9:30am tour so we could sleep in a bit, but earlier in the day the jungle animals are more active and visible. There is an opportunity to eat authentic food at a buffet on a floating local restaurant. The food looked great but we chose to skip that. Go ahead and book this tour.

Highly recommend! I reached out last minute to see if we could do an off hour tour due to our scheduling and they were able to accommodate us easily. On arriving out tour was not able to proceed due to inclement weather however Rodolfo set it up for early the next morning since we had to leave by 11am. Rodolfo was friendly, entertaining, easy going and created a perfect experience for us to feel like we got a taste of the area. Very grateful we were able to squeeze this tour in.

What a fun trip! The meeting of the waters, seeing how they lived on the water, walking thru the jungle above the ground level, also just to see the city from a water view. Only disappointment was not being up close to the pink dolphins.

We were on a covered speedboat protecting from sun and wind to a certain extent. Save boat ride with acceptable speed for safety and comfort.
