A private guided tour was a great way to experience Bangkok. From the flower market, to a private longboat on the canal, to the fabulous temples. Our guide Puk was very knowledgeable and gave us many personal insights and recommendations. I felt the tour was a bit overpriced based on several other tours we took in Thailand, but I knew this when I booked. I would highly recommend if you want to spend the extra money for a private tour.
The guide was on time but the private car and driver never showed. Went to the wrong hotel. I traveled 8K miles and these guys can’t even show on time. Had to book a ride share to the boat dock. I like to book private tours with a car so we can feel free to leave belongings that we don’t need at that particular time. Here we were further inconvenienced and had to carry all our stuff. The tour was advertised as private and customizable and it was anything but. The third party contract guide was nice enough but not the tour operator. He threatened to cancel even after the tour began late. The canal boat ran for just an hour even though it was booked for 2 hours. The whole experience was bad from the get go and just became even worse at the end. Just wanted to get back to the hotel asap. Still their car didn’t show at the and of the canal ride so we had to take a taxi back. Hopefully Viator makes good on a refund from the operator. My recommendation is to find another company if you want to enjoy the canals and the river of Bangkok. There is no shortage of options.
Thank you for your feedback. First, I sincerely apologize again for the pickup delay. The delay happened because our driver mistakenly went to the wrong hotel due to a misunderstanding. I personally apologized to you multiple times and explained that, since I began operating tours in 2011, this was the first time such an incident had occurred. I would also like to clarify one point. In your review, you stated that I threatened to cancel the tour. That is not how I intended the conversation, and I respectfully disagree with that description. My intention was only to explain our refund policy. When you requested a 50% refund because of the delay, I apologized and explained that the delay was our responsibility. I therefore offered you a full refund if you chose to cancel the tour before it began. I also explained that if you decided to continue and complete the tour, I would not be able to issue a partial refund afterward. You chose to continue, and we completed the tour successfully. We immediately arranged another vehicle so the tour could proceed with as little disruption as possible. Throughout the tour, we did our best to provide the service you had booked. We respect every customer and always try to see the situation from the customer's perspective. We never intend to make our guests feel uncomfortable or pressured. If my explanation of the refund policy was interpreted differently, I sincerely regret that. While I fully respect your right to leave a review, I also hope reviews reflect the complete experience as accurately as possible. Our business has earned many 5-star reviews over the years because we work hard to provide excellent service to every guest. I sincerely regret that the pickup delay affected your experience, and I apologize once again. I wish you all the best in your future travels.
One of the highlights from our time in Bangkok is this tour. Kit was fantastic! He adjusted the tour to meet our needs as we had seen many of the temples the day prior. What made our time special was the long boat canal tour. So many sights!! Be sure to walk through the flower market!!
We got picked up on time and started at the flower market. There was always enough time to explore and take pictures. The boat ride was obviously the highlight.
A memorable tour from start to finish. The Long boat provided a unique perspective for sure. Learned a lot about the Buddhist culture from Bella She was awesome !
An excellent outing with Puk who shared history and culture as we explored the canals, temples, and flower markets. The canal ride and transportation between events were a terrific way to explore Bangkok and beat the heavy heat this time of year. Highly recommend this tour and guide for solos, couples, and families.
Amazing tour & guide. Bella our guide took us through Wat Arun & was so knowledge. The long tail boat ride was so cool. Canals you would never know existed. The flower market & other stops were welcomed. Amazed that we lasted 4-1/2 hours with the heat. Ask for Bella if you book….she is great 💕
Katie my guide was wonderful. I walk with a cane and she made sure I was well taken care of the whole time.
This was a wonderful experience for me. I learned a lot about Thailand and Bangkok. The boat ride was amazing and the tour guide took great care of me.
Kit was an excellent tour guide and made our private tour so special. We appreciated learning more about the Thai culture and seeing some of the very historic temples, flower market, palaces, while exploring Bangkok. I would highly recommend this tour, and we would rate this 5-star all the way. khxbkhun
