Half Day Private  Costa Maya Beach Break

Overall experience was excellent. The staff was very attention and made sure all of our needs were met. We were traveling with children and the staff went out of their way to find beach toys for them to play with. Definitely worth the 30 minute taxi from the port!

The place is simply top notch, far removed from the noise and people, it is very exclusive and the tranquility is very good, the staff is too friendly, they strive to make your VIP experience, drinks and exceptional menu, very private beach and very cute, we touched sargasso but it is part of nature, the facilities really very comfortable, each group in their own lounge with comfortable lounge chairs, table chairs of everything!!! I would return a thousand times without hesitation!!!! You can get a complete massage too good!!! Toño is very attentive and Carlos the manager very concerned !!! Book with your eyes closed

This place is secluded and beautiful. The staff was very attentive and kind. Food was delicious as well. They only thing that was not good was the sargassum seaweed was covering the beach, but that is completely out of their control. We will definitely book this excursion again when we come to Costa Maya!

We have been on a 2-week long Princess cruise and this was our final port before headed home. My Wife and I were blown away by how nice this hidden gem is. Located only about a 25 minute drive from the Port in Costa Maya, Hayhu is a must visit again for us. Our driver, Gabriel, was extremely knowledgeable and gave us a short history lesson on the way to the private beach club. Once we arrived at the destination, we found ourselves constantly in awe. The food is amazing! The servers were top-notch! This was our favorite cruise excursion out of 8 total ports on this trip.

A perfect day in a paradise place...away from big cruise groups....definitely an absolute recommendation

Secluded beach break with wonderful views and service. Getting to the taxi, you must walk through the whole port, exit the port, and continue to walk down the middle of road till you get to the intersection. There you will be met by someone who will check your name and get a taxi for you. As stated, there is no charge for the taxi, but know that they will politely ask for a tip. After about a 20 min taxi ride you will be dropped off at Hayhu. I was met by one of the employees and was promptly shown to my area in front of the beach. The water was beautiful, and the sand was nice. They have a shower to wash off the sand, bathrooms and changing rooms. Know that you will not be able to use private decks if you choose this option. I should have read the description more closely as I would have paid more to be able to use the private decks. For lunch, there was no knowledge of my fully paid reservation and/or how much credit I was to receive. I had to pull up the email and they had to contact the owner to verify everything. This was a little inconvenient, but it worked out and my credit was determined as 150 dollars. The food and drinks were wonderfully and beautifully prepared, but it was a little pricey. For 1 lobster tail, 1 fish fillet, 1 skirt steak, 1 bone marrow, 4 empanadas, 1 alcoholic drink, 4 smoothies and 2 waters came out to 225 dollars, not including tip. Thus, my balance was 75 dollars after the 150 dollars in credit. On the other hand, one thing that is awesome is that they use wood, not coal, to grill the meats which makes the food taste fantastic. The wonderful sauces are an exceptional complement to the dishes, giving everything full flavor. This was easily one of my top 3 best meals on my 7-night cruise and I ate at all the specialty restaurants on RCCL. Overall, my 3 children and I loved our time there and would likely go back again. If you want a more secluded beach experience with wonderful food and service and are willing to pay a bit more for it, I recommend this establishment. Suggestions: (1) To whomever is overseeing email communications, there needs to be a change in the confirmation as it states that there is a credit amount of 300 dollars, not 150. (2) It would be nice to have someone explain all the amenities and to be asked if we would like any of them. For example, in the description on the website it states that towels are included. But I was not asked if I needed any or where they might be located. If the amenities were shared in the beginning, it would be easier to ask, locate and use, thus creating added value to the guests’ experience.

A picture is worth a thousand words! Excellent service....delicious guacamole and food! Margaritas made with simple and FRESH ingredients! If you are looking to get away from the crowds and don't mind a little drive this is a great place to be pampered with a massage on the beach and all of your needs catered to 🤙

Great beach day at a very quiet resort. I think there were maybe 3 other couples there when we were. The location is not large, but it's nicely appointed with plenty of shade and seating for everyone. The weather was not ideal (very windy) but of course nobody can control the weather. We had a private day bed with shade, a small table for food/drinks and lounge chairs to ourselves. As far as getting to the venue, Gabriel was our driver. He reached out to us via WhatsApp and ensured we knew where to meet and agreed on a time. He gave us a little mini-tour as we drove. He also worked with the manager of the facility to make sure we were picked up to return to the ship in a timely manner. It's a 'little' tricky to get to the Taxi area outside the port, they obviously design the shopping area to keep you there, but we were provided a map and pictures that made it easy to find our ride. The food at the resort was very good, the service was impeccable. I had a massage, that was very nice and decently priced. Everyone was very friendly. Everything else (food/drinks) were included as advertised. 10/10 would go back.
