It was a lovely journey and the Boatmen was very pleasant and polite. Thank you
Deeply disappointed due to extreme overcrowding, litter, high boat traffic, and noise. The area is heavily commercialized, with limited access to the beach, high entry fees. This type of a boat trip doesn´t make any sence at this time of high tourist acivity. Never more.
Great excursion that we recommend
Covered some main points of interest. Bit chaotic on arrival Maya Bay and not always clear about reboarding. Otherwise, guides helpful and pleasant. Preferred half day as sufficient for sightseeing. 400 baht required for entry to Maya beach but no swimming or sunbathing on beach allowed so something to think about.
Tour itself is very short and quick. Only thing that was kind of worth the money was Maya Bay, other attractions were not as good. Monkey beach was flooded, so it was hard to get out, and see the monkeys from up close, Viking cave is closed, so cant even go inside. Snorkeling sites are just plain coral nothing to see there. I don't recommend this tour, it took 3 hours, not half a day as its says on the title.
