Feel free to mingle with the crowd and don’t forget to negotiate.Only a few meters from there you enter the famous MuttrahSouq where you will find a countless mix of Omani handcrafts, enjoy the oriental sound and smell the gold of Oman “Fragrances”. We drive along the beautiful Corniche to Old Muscat, where we stop for memorable picture of the Sultan's Palace which is surrounded by the Portuguese forts of Jalali and Mirani. At the Bait Al Zubair Museum you get an exclusive chance to get informative information about the Omani culture and their history.

Bait Al Zubair is a heritage and cultural centre that opened its carved wooden doors to the public in 1998. It is funded by its founders, the Zubair family. With its growing collection, Bait al Zubair now houses one of the largest heritage and permanent art collections in the country and serves as a real window on Oman’s rich heritage and culture.

Thanks to Khalid, we had a wonderful half day Muscat City Tour together with our little one. Khalid is not only very well spoken in English, knowledgeable about the culture and city and, he is very generous with his time - we finished the tour an hour past the originally scheduled time and he is with no complaint. If we visit Oman again, we will definitely use the travel agent again and hopefully we'll see Khalid again. Best of 🤞

One word to describe this tour: Amazing. Mohamed Abou Amer our guide was very caring, professional and informative. We visited the main sightseeing and attractions. The grand mosque, the Opera house, fish market, sultan palace, souk and at the end he took us to a great local Omani restaurant for lunch. It was exquisite. Thank you Mohamed for everything. My husband and I had a great experience with Sameer, visiting the Grand Mosque which is awesome inspiring, the Royal opera house, markets, Fort and passing the Sultans palaces. Sameer made our tour truly memorable as he gave us a real insight into his and family life in Oman. He parked up and got us the best chai ( I think) we’ve ever tasted, we learned the traditional way Omani meat is cooked deep in the ground and the best dates to eat! Sameer was very open, we had really interesting conversations and I would highly recommend him🙂
