James did a bespoke tour of Liverpool's musical heritage with our University group who are studying cultural heritage. He was really excellent. Full of both expert knowledge and stories, he really made the city come alive for our group..Would strongly recommend!

Thank you for a lovely review - claire told me that she very much enjoyed your company - thanks again Neil
We stayed last December and LOVED it. There are two types of excursion: a 2-hour excursion and a 5-hour excursion. The two start the same.It is a two hour walk through Liverpool city centre giving historical context and influences of the city in the Beatles, passing through the city centre and several historical places of the city, and some pubs where they met and ending at THE CAVERN, where you can enjoy live music. The five-hour tour, which we chose, starts just like the two-hour tour, but after a stop at THE CAVERN, continues in a van, visiting places a little further from Liverpool shopping centre, which in time could be done walking even, visiting centres where members of THE BEATLES studied. The route continues to Penny Lane, where we could see the origin of the famous song and continue to Strawberry Field where we stopped for lunch as well. Then we continue to the homes of John Lennon and Paul Mccartney. All the time they give context and stop accompanying the story that is told. Claire was our guide and was very kind to us, giving us recommendations of restaurants and areas to visit. We who did the tour in English, but for people who want the tour in Spanish, there is also that option, since the company has Spaniards. 100% recommended, especially if it is a little crazy day, because the walk through the center, and then go to the suburbs spending sunset among some clouds was magical.
It was my absolute pleasure -Claire x (our Spanish guide is called Mercedes) thanks for leaving me a lovely review
Fantastic guide in the morning during the walk. Knew not only a lot about The Beatles, but also about Liverpool. The guide/driver of the afternoon program is just a Beatle fan.
Thank you for a lovely review your driver / guide Jonathan will be delighted
A great tour. Peter our tour guide was very entertaining and knowledgeable. We saw all the sights on our bucket list and more. A must do tour for lovers of The Beatles!!
Peter is a first class tour guide he is bilingual and speaks German too - I know he will be delighted with your review - thank you
Claire explained so much more of Liverpool than just the Beatles. By the time we were done I learned more about the city's history than just the band that happened to originate there. She was great, the car was awesome and Liverpool is so much more dynamic than I ever imagined. It's definitely worth the trip and the day. Make sure you use Brilliant and make sure you ask for Claire.
Thank you so much - Claire manages recruits and trains all our guides alongside an accredited trainer it’s a 13 week course & claires tour with you is exactly the standard we all strive to & we all live Claire she’s a top end blue baffe guide at the very top of her game & I know that she will be delighted with your review
Even though it rained for most of the morning during the walking tour, the information about Liverpool and the Beatles was well worth the wet walk. The afternoon visit to Paul and John's homes and several places from the Beatles' songs including Strawberry fields and Penney Lane was followed by a short tour of the museum. Very good tour!
So glad you had a great time despite the rain! Thanks again Neil
I throughly enjoyed my time on the tour. It was exactly what I was hoping to experience...small group, great information, hit all the significant sights, fun guide. Highly recommended!
Thanks so much we are making a few changes to the tour for next season including the new strawberry field visitor centre so it will be even better - we are delighted you had a great time
We weren’t sure what to expect on this tour, but our tour guide Jean proved to be fabulous. Funny, knowledgeable and a great story teller. Couldn’t recommend this tour highly enough!
Thanks so much I’ll pass your lovely review to Jean who will be delighted - Neil Liverpool Tour Guide
I loved this part walking tour and part taking buses to see the sites. John Lennon’s childhood home was incredible although if you want to look inside you have to book tickets via The National Trust. The guide was so knowledgeable and lovely. Would highly recommend but be prepared for lots of walking.
