Informative and enjoyable insight into stone age Jomon culture.

Tomio provided an interesting and informative commentary on Sannai Maruyama and the Komakino site on our private tour (just 2 people in his car). He arrived on time and was good company, answering our many questions on aspects of Japanese life. We learned more about the Nebuta festival through his local experience. The Komakino site is quite isolated from public transport, so a driver is most efficient to incorporate both sites. The Komakino site is well-worth visiting as the biggest stone circle in Japan and for its peaceful, remote location. He was flexible in the itinerary, dropping us at the Art Museum for the afternoon. Thank you Tomio. We recommend his quiet, knowledgeable approach to guiding.
