Discover the enchanting Tamarind Falls, known locally as 7 Waterfalls, on a captivating hike through Mauritius' lush heartland. This adventure takes you through tropical forests and volcanic landscapes, revealing five of the seven stunning waterfalls. This hike offers a rewarding exploration of Mauritius’ natural beauty. You’ll traverse narrow trails, climb some steep sections, and enjoy expansive viewpoints overlooking cascading waters and deep canyons. Please note: This trek is medium level, but some parts can be challenging and may be difficult for seniors, young children, or those with limited mobility. We recommend sturdy shoes for uneven terrain. Along the way, enjoy refreshing swims in natural pools carved by the falls and a well-deserved waterfall massage. Ideal for active families and those comfortable with moderate hiking, this approximately 3-hour trek allows time to relax and swim in tranquil surroundings. It was a great trip. We have seen wonderful nature, swimming in the waterfall. Definitely recommend this trip
It’s a very challenging hike. Stephano was great at helping us in the rough parts. The swimming was great and refreshing.
Brilliant 1/2 day tour with Stefano. We had an awesome hike through the forest visiting the seven waterfalls. Stefano is a highly experienced guide and provided a wealth of information and some interesting insights into the forest, the falls and Mauritius culture. He takes safety very seriously and accommodates all levels of fitness. We went for a swim at one of the falls which was ace. One thing to watch out for are the “guides” at the entrance to the falls touting for business. If you value safety and want real value for money, recommend that you book with experienced guides beforehand from approved organisations. The forest is dense in places and you can easily get lost if you take the wrong route. First class day and one we will remember.

I had the chance to hike today with an absolutely amazing guide, Akhil, and I couldn’t be more grateful. He was incredibly patient, kind and attentive from beginning to end. You immediately feel his passion for his job, nature and especially for humans. He encouraged me along the way, never feeling pressured, so that I could fully enjoy the experience and go through with it. And the big bonus: his photography skills are just crazy, the photos are amazing. I feel really lucky to have come across such a human and passionate guide. I recommend with my eyes closed.

The guide was perfect, caring for everyone. He really makes the little walk a good memory for everyone. The small swim at the end was just perfect to round off this walk with wellness for the body.

It is not recommended to put on the best clothes - as afterwards you may not be able to use them (become very dirty). In addition, you should be aware that the tour really goes over hill and hill, sometimes with 80% gradients. The views you have on the tour are breathtaking. So if you are fit....do!

The falls were really worth seeing. However, I wouldn’t do the tour on my own, as the trails are not quite easy in some cases and it is much more climbing than hiking. With Stephano as our guide, however, we felt in good hands at all times. He showed us exactly where to step and guided us safely through the track. Besides, he knew the best vantage points. Overall, a great experience – especially thanks to the good care.

Very nice hike with stephano. This one tells very well the place, the flora and is very considerate. This is a beautiful discovery, do not forget his hiking shoes. The descent to the 7th waterfall is quiet and pleasant. The climb a little less, but there are no big difficulties. I recommend this excursion and swimming on site.
