Jamal, I am sorry to hear you are not happy with your four hour fishing trip. I would like to point out some details that I feel you have failed to specify in your comments. For starters at no point do we say it is four hours specifically of fishing. It is a four hour fishing trip which ALWAYS includes travel time which varies from thirty minutes to an hour. This way of timing a trip is the same on ANY fishing boat in the world. It is possible you are not used to going on fishing trips on boats, which we do apologize but our trip is on a boat. As far as no nibbles on your trip, you did repair your hook about 15 times with our free bait, so something was nibbling. You as the angler do need to hook your catch. Others around boat caught many Black Sea Bass. At the end of the day we provide the trip, the rod, reel, bait, tackle. We provide instruction. We do not hook fish for you or reel them up. We even clean your catch as part of our experience if you have a catch to clean. The responsibility of hooking fish is up to you. Also as far as our ass clown setup of no radar I would like to point a failed detail. Radar is used for locating objects above water. We have two radars on the Miss Chris by Furuno, a leader in Radar. Total price for this one piece of equipment and install for both is around $25,000. The radar is used on foggy days for seeing ships, buoys and land. It can also see birds which can aid in fishing. The only fish it would see would be a flying fish. Radar cannot see below water. Now, it is possible your are referring to SONAR. The Miss Chris is equipped with about $50,000 in sonar fish finding equipment. It allows us to pinpoint structure as small as a baseball on the ocean floor and is perfect at finding Black Sea Bass as well as fluke which were caught in your trip. I hope this clears up the difference between Radar and Sonar and allows you to move on to a difference company that you can critique on their ability to force your to hook a fish instead of feeding them. If you ever have time to come with us again, perhaps you will bring a healthy dose of patience which is definitely a requirement in fishing. Captain Jeff

Great deep sea fishing experience

Great day fishing caught 3 fish, first time deep sea fishing. Cream was friendly, helpful, and provided education on how to deep sea fish with the equipment and bait they provided. Location is easy to find. Parking in site. I would do this again.

Rude and Arrogant

owner was EXTREMELY rude and arrogant refused to help me book a trip with his company if you want a kind captain stay away from Miss Chris

Operator response

Jason, I really believe in transparency and facts and you are leaving out the facts. You are leaving out that I told you what your groupon voucher states three times three different ways ans best I could and kind as I could be and you wanted to correct me and tell me I was wrong. I am not the captain of the boat, but I am well aware of what my policy is and what my website says and what Groupons site says. I wrote it. When you purchase a “deal” from a third party it is your responsibility as the buyer to fully understand what you are purchasing and how to redeem it. We do not accept Groupons on our morning trips this time of year. Jeff Stewart Owner

Get there early because it was packed when we went and no seats but we had a ball. We caught a couple sea bass. Stingrays and a couple other fish. Very affordable through this app and the crew is the sweetest

Seasick and not enough room between fishermen at the rail to fish.

The captain and staff were knowledgeable and very friendly. Unfortunately, it rained on the way out to the fishing area and there were white caps blowing up. This is not a small vessel by any means and it was hard to stand at the rail. Even taking Dramamine an hour prior on the way to the dock, my son and I both felt ill. Definitely not anyone’s fault. Just poor luck. When we DID get to fish it’s standing shoulder to shoulder around the entire perimeter of the ship. No casting. 8oz lead. Thumb spool till it hits bottom and hope you feel the difference between the ship rocking and lifting the weight and a fish. Definitely not what I envisioned. If we ever try again I’ll most likely have to spend triple the money or more to get the kind of experience we were hoping for.

We are sorry to hear you had a tough trip. Unfortunately we did have some rough, windy conditions this past summer which made some days worse than others. As an affordable option for fishing, some days are more crowded than others. It sounds like you ended up on a rough, crowded trip in August. We are sorry to hear you did not feel well. we hope that you can make it back out with us on a calm day in the future. In general look for winds of 10 mph or less which is ideal for our fishing.
