Macorix House of Rum is a historical museum of the Ron Family Macorix was born in 1899 by the Carrión family from the town of San Pedro de Macorís, a place considered by many to be the land of poets, artists and sugar cane. 110 years later, Ron Macorix became part of the Vinícola del Norte family of the port city of Puerto Plata, uniting two emblematic rum-producing towns in the Dominican Republic.

The Doña Blanca tourist walk is a small alley in the center of Puerto Plata painted entirely in pink, in a tribute to the founder of the first hotel in the city, the Europa hotel.
This is a beautiful visit in the upper part of the city, where you can have a beautiful view that I assure you will love.
The most impressive cigar factory in the city, where they give you the opportunity to see how the cigar is made and they also give you some to smoke. While the jewelry store is a beautiful, well-conditioned place, both with very professional staff.
Del Oro Chocolate Factory, Dominican Republic is well known for their chocolate production, so of course I had to take a Del Oro Chocolate Factory tour. The cultivation, processing and exporting of raw cocoa and other cocoa products is a large portion of their economy and they do it well! Much of their chocolate makes it's way to the US and Europe.
In this stop we gonna visit the San Felipe Fortress area from the out, Puerto Plata Amphitheater and gonna see the nicest view of gthe ocean.

We had a wonderful experience on this half-day city tour. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire trip enjoyable from start to finish. We felt safe and comfortable throughout the tour, and transportation was well organized. The guide Hiyo shared interesting information about the history, culture, and local life, and gave us plenty of opportunities to take photos and ask questions. We visited beautiful sites and got a great introduction to the area in just a few hours. This tour was a perfect way to explore the city, especially for first-time visitors. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, enjoyable, and informative experience in the Dominican Republic!

Jerry was an awesome tour guide. This was the perfect way to see the city and learn about the culture. Definitely recommend! We even had time to eat lunch at a local spot. The lunch was not on the itinerary but Jerry made it happen.

I was just flabbergasted by the experience. Yeury was awesome and genuine. A bottle of water was provided. We went through all the stops. The run factory was closed so 10% refund was provided to us. If I’d be honest, I would have given the 10% as a tip. This guys are hard-working, professional, and have a very good work ethic, I strongly recommend them, if you were seeing this review sitting on the fence, I would just tell you to book this you would not regret

We had a wonderful experience with Renny, our tour guide. He was very polite and courteous. He tried his best to explain the important landmarks around the city and was quite knowledgeable as far as the history of the place was concerned. It was fun to converse with him. He took us to several places like for example the rum factory, the pink street, downtown etc. and these places were very pleasant to see and experience. You get the vibe of the locals and how relaxed, welcoming and fun loving they are actually. Overall a nice experience.
