Piazzale Montelungo is the meeting point for your tour. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure for the Check-In. Our assistant will be waiting for you at the end of the ramp connecting Piazzale Montelungo with the railway station Santa Maria Novella, wearing blue clothing with the Caf Tour and Gray Line logos, so they will be easy to recognize. After check-in, you will be ready to start your Chianti wine experience in the Tuscan countryside. Chianti Morning Tour - Check in Time: 8am - Departure Time: 8:15am. Chianti Cooking Class - Check in Time: 8am - Departure Time: 8:15am. Chianti Afternoon Tour - From March 27th until October 31st: Check in Time 02:15pm - Departure Time 2:30pm. From November 1st to March 26th: check in Time 01:30pm - Departure Time 1:45pm.
Visit a charming winery located in the Florentine side of the Chianti region, near Greve in Chianti. During this first stop, you will discover the character of Chianti Fiorentino wines, shaped by the hills, climate, and winemaking traditions of this part of Tuscany. Enjoy a guided tasting of distinctive local wines, each offering a unique expression of the territory, accompanied by selected regional products.
Continue your journey toward the Sienese side of Chianti, in the area of Monteriggioni, where a second winery welcomes you for another authentic tasting experience. Here, you will have the chance to compare the wines of Chianti Senese with those tasted earlier in the Florentine area, appreciating the subtle differences in aroma, structure, and character. This stop offers a deeper understanding of how each part of Chianti expresses its own identity through wine.

- We recommend to wear comfortable shoes. Wineries are usually located on the top of the hill and you start the visit with a short walk along the slope through vineyards.
- For small groups, up to 8 pax, the Tour escort service could be replaced with an English speaking driver-guide service, while maintaining unchanged the entire program of the excursion.
- Please be advised that it is required to bring your original ID with you during the tour
- In the visited wineries, it is not always possible to ensure the presence of staff who speak languages other than English.
- Clients with motor disabilities or wheelchair users are encouraged to notify the tour organizer in advance and seek medical advice to ensure suitability of services. Our tours and transportation are not suitable for people with motor disabilities or wheelchair users, so to prioritize the safety and well-being of all involved, the driver and tour manager retain the right to decline participation if they believe it may compromise safety. It was a great experience with one small winery & one bigger winery. Especially the bigger one was amazing. Our guide Samuel (or Sam) was enthousiastic and very friendly. The wine tastings were also nice and also a bit beginner-proof
