Get ready for a RELAXING HALF DAY TOUR to discover the Chianti Classico wine region at a GREAT PRICE in the comfort of a 8 seat minivan.
Olive groves, cypresses following the winding roads and grapes hanging off the vines will welcome you into the Chianti area; let your tour leader drive you into the heart of Tuscany while sharing stories & legends set in the Medieval castels. In max one hour you will be living your lifelong dream: a glass of wine in your right hand, a bruschetta in your left hand and the breathtaking view on the rolling hills in front of you. The winemakers will guide you through their old cellars while sharing all the secrets of the ancient art of the wine making. Three wines to taste before boarding again on the company minivan towards a second winery.
This second stop is a local family run farm where you will find out that small wine producers can make amazing wine too. Another authentic opportunity to learn the process of picking, making and bottling this famous wines. During the day you will taste 6 up to 8 different types of wine, balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oils paired with snacks.
Return to Florence at 6:30pm approx.

We experienced two types of vineyards .. one small family owned and another locally owned commercially owned International vineyard .. both were great .The wine was delicious ! The hosts were fantastic and we bought wine to be shipped from both locations ! Great terms . We enjoyed the retrieved ..

We had an amazing time today! Dom our guide was very pleasant and easy to talk to and the views at the wineries were breathtaking and the wines were delicious! We enjoyed being driven through Tuscany and seeing the beautiful countryside, in spite of the partly rainy day. We loved visiting the wineries, learning about their operations and tasting the fine wine. Our driver, Dom, was fantastic! He was knowledgeable and kind, and we all felt safe with his driving.

We loved our full day tour to the Chianti region and San Gimignano with Emmanuel! We did the small group tour (8 people) and this was absolutely worth the extra money! The other tours had 40 people in it and wasn’t as personalized. We were lucky and had a great group of people on our tour- we had a blast! Our tour guide Emmanuel was very nice— he told us a lot of fun facts about the region on our way there and took pictures throughout the day for us. The wineries were great, got a full charcuterie board for each person at the first winery and food at the second as well, with tons of wine tastings! We loved our tour and would absolutely tour with this company again! (Would also recommend booking directly with the tour company, the third party sites cost almost $100 extra for no reason!)
