Discover a different side of Bangkok as you venture off the tourist trail and explore the rural villages and klongs (canals). Cruise along the Chao Phraya River to Nonthaburi, visit a traditional market, and glide along the scenic khlongs on a Rocket boat, before tucking into a delicious Thai lunch at a local cultures market. Tour brings you to a location northwest of Bangkok on the Chao Phraya River. The city is part of the greater Bangkok Metropolitan Area. History of the area is related to King Rama III of Chakri Dynasty. There was a famous fruit Garden and Original track of the Main River in Thailand named Chao Phraya River. You will enjoy with the old city of many temples.

Phra Sumen Fort is a fortress built in the reign of King Rama I. At that time, 14 forts were built to protect the capital. However, as time passed, the forts were no longer necessary and were demolished. Phra Sumen Fort is one of only two forts left, the other being Mahakan Fort.
The Rama VIII Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge crossing the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok, Thailand.
The National Assembly of Thailand, or Parliament, is the legislative branch of the Thai government and is considered one of the three institutions that represent sovereign power in the country.
The district was created in 1904 and named Bang Yai. Due to its size it was difficult to administer, and thus in 1917 the northern part was split off as minor district (king amphoe), Bang Mae Nang. In 1921 Bang Mae Nang became a full district.
Established during the reign of King Barommagot of Ayutthaya and located in Tambon Chalo, this temple was constructed in the distinctive style of a traditional European merchant ship. Many lives had been lost as ships foundered in the nearby river, and local belief dictated that, as a result, a temple should be constructed like a boat to bring back good fortune. Although abandoned for many years, monks finally took up residence in the temple again during King Rama the III or IV's reign.
Nonthaburi is situated in a fertile basin on the bank of the Chao Phraya River, where many fruit and flower plantations are interspersed with a number of Historical temples.

Our guide Joker was fun and knowledgeable. The organisation of different transportation means was super smooth. The route covered wide area and we saw daily life outside tourist area. People were friendly. As an extra step, our guide surprised us with a video about our experience (he took many pictures and videos and shared with us) after the trip. I cannot express how amazing this tour was. Everything was so well organized and communicated. The day was so fun and full of adventure. Our two teenagers had a blast. The entire tour was full of things we would have never found or discovered ourselves.

A fantastic experience, with a variety of methods of transports you really get a flavour of thai life. 2 trains, a ferry, a tuk tuk and a rocket boat finally returning to Bangkok via a premium cab it was a great use of half a day. My guide Enjoy was very knowledgeable & friendly. Recommend highly! The rocket boat was the highlight at times we really laid down some speed.
