For adventurous cruisers!

This was a great experience! The guide was fluent in multiple languages. You will get dirty! Bring a bandana and sunglasses to keep dirt out of your eyes and mouth. They do sell these if you forget. Bring a wet bag to keep your things dry. Once again you will get dirty and wet! The sugar cane demonstrations were so neat. The snacks were delicious! We were able to utilize their $30 pickup and drop off and had 40 minutes to spare when we got back to our cruise ship. Make sure to let the head guide know and he will make sure you meet that time. I would recommend this for those that love adventure!

Great local business

Lots of fun, mud, local villages... Rusty cars, but beautiful caring people! Thank for been flexible for us! The biggest bummer was a river - lots of mud after rains and so no swimming this time. But this is mother nature!

Muddy Fun

This was a wonderfully fun morning. Our kids (5 & 10) loved it as much as we did. The buggy driving was fab, trying the sugar cane was lovely, swimming in the river - epic; and the post swim snacks were delicious. The prices of the photo package ($40) was a bit steep - but the photos will create many giggles when we get home.

Very fun getaway!

Friendly time in buggy, in small local villages, sugarcane plantations and jungle. The whole team is very friendly and playful. Tasting of various local products all very good! Don't be afraid to get dirty.

Tour had potential but fell flat.

The good: location near La Romana was great. Pickup at our hotel was timely. You ride the buggies between the stops so you get plenty of time behind the wheel. The buggies worked well and were fun. The stop locations are varied. The time spent at each stop/pace of overall tour was appropriate. The bad: the guide didn't introduce himself and we never got his name. He was pretty disengaged throughout the tour. He does speak English because that was unclear at the beginning of the tour. At the sugar cane stop, he did provide us with some interesting information about the history of sugar cane in the DR and I was hopeful this would continue at the other stops. It did not. No information about the river we stopped at. The last stop was a small local farm business. The owners gave a very weak explanation of how cacao is processed (maybe 1 minute long). The tour would be greatly improved with even just 5 minutes of information given at the the 3 stops we make.
