An excellent day

Well from the minute inamorata yukihiro picked us up we were welcomed , although Inamura didn’t speak a lot of English he translated to us by his phone, we first went to the goryokaku star fort and gardens where we took in the breathtaking views we then went on to drive up mount Hakodate where we saw even more beautiful views unfortunately the cable car wasn’t working, but the trip up the mountain was good . After a few photo opportunities we left to go to the fish market where we stopped for lunch and had sushi. Mr Yukihiro then after lunch took us to a market and treated us to the Japanese cheesecake , to which was delicious that my grandson even had a second helping. We then went on to see the Russian church , the French church and the English church, stopping of at the British consulate for afternoon tea. Just after this we stopped for some more photo opportunities before making our way back to the ship. It was a lovely day with lovely company, we could not of had a better guide for the day . We head our photos taken with him, and even got a moo moo as he drove out of the port. (His car is a moo moo taxi, hence the car horn being the sound of a car)

Operator response

Dear Julie, Thank you so much for your heartwarming review! We are truly delighted to hear that you had such a wonderful day exploring Hakodate with Yukihiro. Although he is still learning English, he always puts his heart into making our guests feel welcome and comfortable — and we are so glad that came through in your experience. From the stunning views of Goryokaku and Mount Hakodate to the fresh sushi lunch and delicious Japanese cheesecake, it sounds like such a memorable day! We especially loved reading that your grandson enjoyed the cheesecake so much he had a second helping — that made us smile! 😊 We are happy you were able to enjoy a fun ride with a Moo Moo Taxi this time — what a special memory! The horn sound is always a delight for our guests. It was our great pleasure to host you, and we sincerely hope to welcome you and your family again on your next trip to Japan! Warmest wishes from all of us. 🤍✨
