As part of your Easy Rider motorbike tour, we begin by leaving Hue’s busy streets and riding into peaceful countryside back roads. Our first stop is Thanh Toan Bridge, a beautiful 18th-century covered wooden bridge surrounded by rural village life. Here, you explore a traditional market, visit the Rice Museum, and learn about local farming methods and daily countryside customs. This is your first real taste of Vietnam’s off the beaten track culture. From here, our back roads scenic journey continues deeper into rural Hue.
Continuing the Easy Rider motorbike tour off the beaten track, we ride through endless rice fields and quiet villages where farmers still work by hand. We pause at a scenic rice field viewpoint before arriving at An Bang Cemetery, famously known as the “City of Ghosts.” This extraordinary site is one of Vietnam’s most unique cultural landscapes. Wow! What a day, absolutely perfect from start to finish. I’ll start with I was decently nervous as I have not been on a bike before and almost did not book because of it and I can say with 100% confidence I am glad I did. My easy rider, Huy, was the best. Very kind, accommodating, and most importantly safe! It was clear he had great knowledge of the roads and respect for the sharp turns. He checked in frequently to make sure I was all good, made many stops to take in the views, hydrate, and take photos, which was much appreciated as a solo traveler. The bike was very comfortable and allowed me to experience places I would have never seen otherwise. Every part of the day was a highlight. From the turns of the Hai Van pass, to each viewpoint of the Lagoons, the waterfall, and the stunning countryside as you approach Hue were unreal. I cannot recommend this experience enough. If you are even thinking about booking, you have to do it. It will forever be one of my favorite days.

We did the Hai Van Pass motorbike tour today, starting and ending in Hue, and it was truly one of the best experiences of our trip to Vietnam! To be very honest, I was a little hesitant about booking this tour at first, mainly because the price was relatively high for me. But after going for it, I have absolutely no regrets — it ended up being one of the best things I did in the whole of Vietnam. You spend hours riding through the incredibly beautiful Vietnamese countryside, and the landscape is constantly changing — rivers, lakes, mountains, rice fields, small villages, and winding roads. The tour also takes you to places further away from the usual tourist hotspots, so you get some amazing views without having to deal with crowds. One of the absolute highlights for me was An Bang Cemetery, or the "City of Ghosts". It's such a surreal and fascinating place, and genuinely unlike anything I've seen elsewhere in the world. It would also be quite difficult to get there by yourself, so I really appreciated that the tour included it, along with many other stops along the way. Xo was also an excellent guide. Super friendly and easy to talk to, and genuinely willing to chat and engage throughout the trip. I never felt rushed at all. He even drove me to a place he recommended for breakfast, and when I wanted to stop at a bánh mì shop on the way back, he gladly obliged. Most importantly, the driving felt very safe and professional throughout, so I could just relax and enjoy the scenery. Overall, it was definitely more than I would normally spend on a tour, but looking back, it was completely worth it. If you want to see more of the countryside around Hue and places that would otherwise be difficult to reach on your own, I would highly recommend it.

I honestly cannot recommend this tour enough. My guide, Binh, was absolutely amazing and made the whole experience so memorable. From the beginning, he made me feel completely safe and at ease, which I really appreciated as a solo traveller. What I especially loved was how personalised the tour felt. Binh asked me what I had already seen and what I was interested in, and adapted the experience so I could discover new places. We travelled along the beautiful Hai Van Pass and stopped at some incredible spots along the way, including a waterfall, places where we saw water buffalo, and the railway that runs through Vietnam. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. Binh also taught me so much about Vietnam, its history, culture and the places we visited. He was genuinely interested in making sure I was enjoying myself throughout the entire day, and I had SO much fun. And an unexpected bonus: he is an incredible photographer! 😂 He took so many amazing photos of me throughout the tour, knew all the best locations and even told me how to pose. I came away with so many beautiful pictures that I genuinely don’t know which ones to choose from, he takes better photos of me than my friends do! I’m incredibly grateful to Binh for making the day so special. It felt much more like exploring Vietnam with someone who genuinely wanted me to have an amazing experience than simply following a standard tour itinerary. We booked an Easy Rider tour from Danang to Hue via the Hai Van Pass and it was hands-down one of the best things we did in Vietnam. From the moment we reached out, the booking process was quick and easy, and the team went above and beyond by putting together a personalised itinerary for us, including stops at the Hue Imperial City and the Minh Mang Tomb. It made the whole day feel tailored to what we actually wanted to see, rather than a generic package tour. Riding over the Hai Van Pass has to be the best way to take in the scenery on this route — the views over the coastline and mountains are incredible, and having a guide who knew exactly where to stop for photos made all the difference. Our guide, Thien, was fantastic. He was friendly, easygoing, and made sure we felt comfortable the entire time, even sorting out little things along the way without us having to ask. His knowledge of the history and stories behind the sites we visited added so much to the experience. On top of all that, it was genuinely great value for money. OH MY GOSH! If you want a day of sites and adventure while tooling around with Great locals on the back of motorcycles…this is the day for you! Kind, considerate, compassionate, knowledgeable, experienced locals taking you on a grand adventure! We rode, I think 200 kilometers! I think. I’m a crazy American who just goes with the flow and is up for anything! 200 - 300 I couldn’t care less about the distance…for me it’s about the human connection with the locals and the beauty of this country! Hoa & Luc and their team from Mister T’s Riders were incredible! We are a group of 6 and all of us enjoyed the experience! Worth asking, if you are riding solo, check with Mr T about getting a motorcycle verses a scooter. This was the only thing, and I didn’t know to ask when I booked. We have one Very experienced rider who would have loved a motorcycle over the scooter…but he smiled and embraced (and throughly enjoyed) the day! Pick up was punctual, water was provided, stop s were made for coffee, sugar cane treats, lunch (on your own…get lobster) waterfalls and VIEWS for miles and miles! Absolutely fantastic right from our pickup. Win is an excellent guide who went over and above to ensure my wife and I had a memorable full day experience!! We even met his mother, wife and brother. Beautiful family. My wife rode with Win and I rode a scooter. Very comfortable and safe. Win ensured we stayed away from highway traffic for additional safe riding. There’s just so much to say about this trip. We rode through the city, villages, back roads and countryside plus lunch at the beach and a refreshing swim in the mountains. The Hai Van Pass is wonderful and an easy ride to the top. The tour is a full day but we didn’t find it tiring as you’re constantly seeing something new. We really enjoyed all the kids waving and yelling hello hello as we rode by. We highly recommend this tour for everyone.
