The meeting time and place were changed at the last minute, luckily I still made it nearly on time but the chaos to start was only the beginning. Guide never introduced himself or the driver so I had no idea what his name was. The tour was overbooked (guide completely unaware despite having a full passenger list) so the last young girl that was picked up had to sit in the front between the driver and guide. At nearly every stop the guide almost left people behind. The guide was adamant that my entry fees were not included even though I showed him my booking. He was not very nice or accommodating in this along with another person who had the same issue from a different booking company. Although I had to pay the entry fee for the second stop the guide eventually spoke to his office and realized that both of us were supposed to be covered and refunded the money we paid. And to top it off the van overheated on the drive back and we were stuck on the side of the road for 45 minutes waiting for it to cool down. And outside of the logistics, I honestly didn’t think this was a “must see” place in the area, just a bunch of random stone statues in a quarry was not at all what I was expecting and would tell others it’s not worth the journey, nothing exciting to see.
Good evening, We are taking action against the guide and the driver regarding their behaviour. We deeply regret the incident and are very grateful for your feedback, which helps us to improve.
Alexandra is a great guide! I took 2 tours with her: the sillar route and a tour in Arequipa + monastery of Santa Catalina. Both tours were amazing!
Great value. First a trip to a viewpoint to the 3 volcanoes. Then a drive to where they make the silliar stones - the querry. After that a small hike of 1 km through a Canyon. 4 hours well spend with our guide Alexandra og driver diego.

Alexandra did a great job. Van had 17 pp and she is fluent in English and Spanish. Very interesting tour. Walking through the canyons to see the petroglyphs was amazing! Steep climb up a random side of hill but we did it! 68 and 64 yo. Have fun!
