Babulnath is an ancient Shiva temple in Mumbai. Situated on a small hillock near Girgaum Chowpatty, it is one of the oldest temples in the city, Shiva in the form of the Lord of the Babul tree is the main deity in this temple.
The Haji Ali Dargah is a mosque and dargah or the monument of Pir Haji Ali Shah Bukhari who was a Sufi saint and a wealthy merchant from Uzbekistan.
St. Thomas Cathedral at Fort, Mumbai, gave ‘Churchgate’ its name and for 297 years has stood testament to the city’s colonial past. Epitaphs for soldiers who fought in long-ago wars can be seen, as well as stained glass windows designed by artists from Victorian England, and even a memorial for the first Bishop of Bombay – the very air here is thick with stories of yesteryear
The Nipponzan Myohoji Buddhist Temple started out as a Japanese Buddhist monastery and dates back to 1931 when it was built by a traveling Japanese monk, Nichidatsu Fujii, who was visiting India trying to follow the prophecy of the 13th-century Japanese monk Maha Bodhisattva Nichiren.

I was on the 1 day individual City tour excursion in Mumbai with Mystycal Mumbai. We have visited all the main touristical places: Gate of India, Taj Hotel, Park with the nice view to the city, slams etc. Our guides were Abikesh and Mukesh (hope I write correct their names) -both young, active, more than fruendly. Really during this 6-7 hours they became as a friends for me, escecially after passing by their house in slams. If you want to see slams with people which consider them as home ask this two guys to be your guide.
