Begin your journey at Wroclaw Main Train Station (Wrocław Główny), where you'll embark on a 3 hours train ride to Krakow.
After arriving in Krakow, join our guided tour to Auschwitz, starting from a meeting point just a 7-minute walk from the train station. It's very easy to reach, and you’ll receive a detailed map and clear instructions to guide you there.
Then embark on a 1-hour and 30-minute drive to the Auschwitz Birkenau Museum, where you'll join a guided walking tour led by a local expert. Explore the remains of the Nazi camp, including barracks, watchtowers, and crematoriums. The tour covers two sections of the camp: Auschwitz I, primarily for political prisoners, and Auschwitz II-Birkenau, predominantly for Jews and Roma people. You'll spend approximately 2 hours in the first section and about 1 hour in the second. After the tour, we will drive you back to Krakow.
Following the Auschwitz tour, enjoy free time in the historic city of Krakow, a must-visit destination known for its rich history and cultural significance. Explore the Old Market, the largest medieval market square in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. An incredibly long day, but very powerful and worth the exhaustion. I loved that a visit to Krakow was included. It was very easy to find the train station in Wroclaw, find my driver in Krakow, and the van driver to Auschwitz. I had 2 hours to explore Krakow in the morning before Auschwitz, and 2 hours afterwards. Auschwitz and Birkenau are truly a horror that we should never forget, and they have preserved these places wonderfully. The artifacts, the buildings, and the history shared by the guide. It was a lot of walking, but I saw so much. Truly one of the top excursions I have taken.

I can't say enough about how great Poland Travel was for our tours. From the organization to answering all of my questions and to our amazingly friendly drivers (Robert and Tomak) they truly made our time in Poland memorable. The organization of the tours was great. We were picked up from our AirBnB at a time conveinent to us and then taken to the various tour sites that we visited. We learned and explored a lots in Warsaw and Krakow by the private tour arranged by Maria at Poland Travel. The tour guides have knowledge and provide a lots of history of Poland.
