We have spent two great, highly informative and very interesting days with Moulay Rachid as our personal guide...a very experienced, very friendly and charming person! Thank you, Rachid, for being our guide and showing us the history and the pulse of the Marrakech! Christian & Family
We spent 19 November on a guided walking tour of Marrakech’s historic Medina with Moulay Rachid, and it was an unforgettable experience. Rachid collected us directly from our hotel and curated a brilliant 5–6 hour journey through the heart of the city. Over the course of roughly three miles, he led us through the labyrinthine souks, to the Koutoubia Mosque, Jemaa el-Fnaa, and many hidden gems we would never have found on our own. His narrative in English was clear, engaging, and full of fascinating insights into the history, culture, and people of Marrakech. What made the tour especially enjoyable was Rachid’s balance: he gave us space to explore at our own pace, while at other times guiding us precisely so we didn’t miss anything important. He bought us water, introduced us to locals, and his warm rapport with the community was evident — he is widely known and respected throughout the city. The concierge at the Conrad Rabat had booked this tour for us in advance, noting that Rachid is the best guide in Marrakech, and we can wholeheartedly agree. Friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, he made the Medina come alive. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience Marrakech in depth and with genuine local expertise.
I would like to sincerely thank our tour guide for making our visit to Marrakesh, especially the Yves Saint Laurent Museum and Majorelle Garden, such a memorable experience. The guide was extremely knowledgeable, explaining the history and cultural significance of each place with passion and clarity. Their friendly attitude, patience, and ability to answer all our questions made the tour both informative and enjoyable. The guide’s enthusiasm for Marrakesh’s heritage, combined with their excellent storytelling skills, truly brought the beauty of Yves Saint Laurent’s legacy and the charm of the gardens to life. This visit was one of the highlights of our trip, and we deeply appreciate the guide’s professionalism and warm hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Marrakesh!
Moulay Rachid was an unbeatable guide. Very cult and with superior education, guided us by a visit at the height of what asked us. The visit was perfectly suited to our interests. Always very asking and always answering all our questions. He knows perfectly and is known and recognized by all those with whom we cross. Um gentlemen. I highly recommend.
Moulay Rachid was an amazing guide. For the sympathy, culture, availability, knowledge of the locations and the people of the sites you gave us to visit. A sympathy. Always willing to alternate between French (or for me and my wife) and English (for my children). With university education, he favorably answered all our multiple questions. Friendly and available from beginning to end. I highly recommend this Moroccan gentlemen, natural and passionate about Marrakesh.
A very efficient and responsive guide to our requests, it answers our questions and the more we were only 3 so a walk in Marrakech at the top.
Nice but expensive visit because we stay on the streets except for the palace where we pay more entrance. You get to know local life a little bit. Making multilingual groups leads to fewer explanations because you have to translate. Rachid was a friendly guide
I highly recommend this tour with Rashid. He is a guide with whom you will feel the atmosphere of Marrakech and have an exciting cultural trip trough historical part of the city
We went around the Medina with Rachid. The visit was perfect! Rachid is very expert on the history of the country and the places of the city. We highly recommend!
Rachid gave us a bit of history while visiting several beautiful monuments. All of our senses were awakened in the souks. The open market was quite a sight. Thank you Rachid for this wonderful visit.
