I had an absolutely wonderful walk through the national park! I was the only person but my guide didn’t care and made sure I had a good time! As we walked he told me all about the history of the land and buildings we passed. It was all relatively flat land which made the two hour walk very easy and enjoyable.
A beautiful walk throughout the park. Richard was so kind and thoughtful and told us all about the river, trees, flowers, animals, and history.
Amazing walk with a local guide. We enjoyed the tour so much , and were happy to meet Richard who was born and always live on Killarney, so many interesting facts and stories. And Richard is very well rounded and nice person.
Richard was awesome! Such a kind and entertaining guy. Even though the weather was super rainy, he led me through the park and went to a lot of cool places. He was super knowledgeable about everything. Even afterwards, he took me to a GAA game and snuck me in so I was able to watch a few minutes! 110% recommend to anyone visiting Killarney.
Beautiful guided walk with Richard , he led us on a wonderful walk of the Killarney national park . Richard was very knowledgeable about the local area and we enjoyed a great chat whilst taking in the scenery.
Great time with Richard. I was the only to show up still a fantastic tour. Weather was bad but still saw some great sights.
Richard is a fantastic guide and walking companion, with a wealth of knowledge about the park, and local history of the town and its people. If you want an insight into Killarney I couldn't recommend this walk enough.
Wonderful 2-h walk in Killarney National Park, Richard is very knowledgeable and told us a lot of stories. Relaxing walk, good with kids.
This was a great way to explore the national park! The walk was relatively leisurely with only a few minor hills. Most was paved, but we did explore off the path a little. Our guide was born and raised in the area and the park was where he used to frequent as a child and all through this adulthood. We learned about the history and got to see some unique sites we would have missed on our own. We also enjoy the wildlife! We saw many deer and a type of cow that almost went extinct until being brought to the national park. One of the deer even almost came right up to us. It was just the right about of time but we loved seeing the beautiful sights from a trusted local!
You don't need a guide . You can walk the park without one. Saw a few cows but no deer. Very little communication along the way. Very pleasant guide.
