PDS is simply the best! Do yourself a solid and book them today. Their excellent trained staff will not only make it a “Perfect” day on the mountain, they will give you the best places to see on/off the mountain! Special shout to Adam for making our visit to Zermatt memorable in every way!
Cannot say better things about the experience. I booked a 4 day skiing strip last minute with the PDS team and had a perfect time on the mountain each of the days. Seb, the instructor, was patient and helped me improve my novice skills, while also making sure that it was a fun and challenging experience. It’s a great crew. You will not regret it.
What a memorable experience hiking in and around Zermatt. I booked this trip as a solo hike and could not be more thankful to my guide Matthew and Simon at PDS Sports for communicating with me through Trip Advisor coming up to the event on how to customize the hike to my preferred difficulty level/ hopes for the experience. They also have an office in the town near the train station if you ever wanted to drop by. A full day might seem like a lot but it was approximately 6-7 hours of well-paced (breaks whenever needed), medium level hike. We made an early stop for coffee up at Edelweiss cafe (it lights up and you can see it from Zermatt at night)! Matthew was great company, while he skillfully navigated and educated me on the different wild life, plants, seasonal changes, and different mountain peaks that can be seen. For lunch, I opted for a picnic but there was also the option for stopping in a restaurant. What I liked most was that there was no prescribed route (sometimes certain areas are closed due to weather/ safety). Matthew gauged the area and our energy level and took us on a wonderful stroll around what nature had to offer that day. Pictures cannot do the hike justice (so many colourful flowers and butterflies everywhere), but here are a few of my hike, including a photo of 3 groups of sheep we saw getting some shade under the trees! I hope anyone that is considering hiking around Zermatt does end up doing it. Nothing like fresh air, clearing your mind, and learning about the area by foot.
As a new mom who had just given birth 3months ago and as a first-time skier I wouldn't do it without (Keira)! She is an excellent instructor with a nice personality that starts with me with the basics and removes the fear that I used to have.
Émile is great instructor and a terrific guide. He knows every corner of the mountain. Whatever the kind of ride you like, i’ll find the ideal path for you
