We will spend 5 minutes here before we go to Stortorget.

5 min

Here we continue the story of the plague and continue to talk about Prästgatan, the most haunted street in Old Town. Hear eyewitnesses' accounts of how haunted these neighborhoods are. We stay here approximately for 5 minutes.

the next stop on the guided tour, where we talk about the city's famous prison where the notorious king slayer Jacob Johan Anckarström spent his last days before his execution. Hear the legend of his shuffling steps in the alleys after his own execution and hear the guide tell of his hauntings. 5 minutes stay on this site.

5 min

Helvetesgränd is the next stop which in English means the street of hell. The site is still haunting and once upon a time, the executioner lived here. Meet the executioner and hear his vivid stories of executions, his own life and how he became an executioner in the first place. Here the visitors spend 5-7 minutes.

5 min

the next place where you will meet the famous architect Niccodemus Tessin who hails from the European continent. Hear his stories about the royal castle, the great castle fire and about Stockholm, perhaps Sweden's most terrifying ghost, the White Lady. A female figure both the swedish royalty and ordinary tourists have glimpsed on the top floor of the castle. Here we stay for 5 minutes.

5 min

The Finnish church and Sweden's smallest statue is the place where the guided tour ends. Here we summarize everything and you will hear the sad story of the little iron boy who we will visit. Cancelled hike

We got there in good time and in the right place. Together with two others we waited for 10 minutes without a guide showing up, and then we started looking for someone to call. Got hold of a person on sms, who gave us notice that the hike was cancelled, something we had not been told about. I've been promised to get the money back, and we'll see how it goes. We each got a drink as compensation and were pleasantly joined by the other couple who had also waited in vain.

Satisfy

1 hour felt like twenty minutes, time gpr quickly when you have fun! Would have liked to walk an hour longer. The immersive spectacle both surprised and was fun! More entertaining than cold chills though, might be scarier if it's dark outside. Would definitely recommend this ghost walk to those they want to learn a little about the old town's history and at the same time get a real show! Cozy restaurant with good food too. Thanks!

No tour, no problem. Will go next time.

I didn't get to go because there was no quorum but the organizers got in touch with me and were really kind and friendly about it, offering some compensations. So, I can imagine the tour with them would be a great experience too.

Good for a late autumn evening

Take the tour on a late and dark evening in autumn - nice with a mixture of historical knowledge and moderately scary stories. Good for families.

strongly recommend to avoid

We spent 1000 SEK for a ghost walk of 50 minutes with the brothers Hesselbäck together with my wife and our children. The price is 300 SEK for adults and 210 SEK for children, and we were a group of 50 paying participants, which made it difficult to hear the guides properly. Apart from some stories from the 16th century that we have heard many times before, absolutely nothing happened. We also did not visit any places that could be considered worthwhile for a ghost walk. The performance was dull, lacking in passion and came across as a fraud, with a script without any substance. There were no special effects or any attempt to create a terrifying atmosphere, which you would expect from a ghost walk. I highly recommend avoiding this company.

Interesting and fun

We had two guides who played various parts: characters from Stockholms history. It was a little interactive but nothing off-putting. Interesting and fun.

An Amazing Experience

This historical ghost tour in Gamla Stan, Stockholm, is absolutely amazing. The tour guides, dressed in authentic historical attire, brought the past to life with their knowledge and enthusiasm. Their storytelling made the history of the area intriguing for both young and old. It was not just a walk through the old streets; it was a journey back in time, filled with fascinating tales and eerie legends.
