Description
Our bike tour aims to introduce one of the most iconic and mysterious sites of Palermo, where faith and story mix in a unique place. It will deal with the history of the Catacombs, the embalming techniques of the bodies by the friars, the main figures present in the crypt and the bond of the people to this eternal vigil. The tour is completed on the return with a visit to a part of the Unesco itinerary such as Porta Nuova, the Cathedral and Quattro Canti. Departures on Monday, Thursday and Friday at 9:30 from the meeting point of Descent of the Judges n.13. The bike tour also includes entrance tickets

Located in the basement of the friars' convent, there are the Capuchin catacombs in Gothic style. A macabre show that highlights the habits, customs and traditions of the Palermo city society that lived from the 17th to the 19th century. Entrance ticket included.

The catacombs were a unique experience, and by biking we stopped to see things on the way. The guide was great and very knowledgable, and he adapted the tour according to our requests. Very recommended trip!
