Visit the first school on Amelia Island. Now a boutique hotel called the Amelia School House Inn. Walk the halls of the school learn the history, stories of students and see pictures of the school. Built in 1866
We'll briefly pass by the famous Captains House from the movie, The Adventures of Pippi Longstocking. We'll chat about the location and learn the history of the house and movie.

If you're looking for something different to do on Amelia Island, the Arcimoto tour is definitely worth it. The vehicles are easy to drive, surprisingly fun, and a great way to see parts of the island you might otherwise miss. The guide was friendly, made everyone feel comfortable before heading out, and shared interesting local history along the way. Make sure you sample the pirates punch, it was tasty.
Cannot be more disappointed, purchased the tour-arrived early at designated address and no one showed up. I attempted to contact provider via phone and message-shocker no response. Very disappointed this was a scam
This is your second review. We’re not a scam, with the numerous 5 star reviews we have were obviously in business and doing great. We attempted to reach you a week prior to your booking to let you know we couldn’t fulfill your tour due to our guide be out of town. Unfortunately there wasn’t a phone number to contact you via TripAdvisor. We messaged TripAdvisor and we never received no response. Instead of just canceling without merit we attempted contact. We provided you a full refund and hope you’ll return to tour in the future.
I had booked the guided Arcmoto FUV Tour for my “Sister’s Trip”. Got to our location on time and there was a “no show”…no notification the tour was cancelled. I did call the phone # and was advised they thought they had contacted me regarding the cancellation. This is one of the first times I have used TripAdvisor and now am very reluctant to book future tours. I am very disappointed.
Again, we apologize for the last minute cancellation. 100% our fault. We had a family emergency and had to fly in to Texas and we thought we had contacted all of our customers to get them rescheduled/cancelled but we honestly missed your booking. An honest oversight. Sorry again
This experience was awesome! The entire Gold Bond Sales Team had a great time and were talking about it days after. Hugh was excellent and fit right in with our clan-- He was informative and fun! It made our business trip one to remember!!
