This was a great experience, and the highlight of our trip to Colombia. Guatape is an amazing place. Our tour guide, Felipe, was very good. He is very knowledgeable, witty and super fun. Felipe did a great job explaining everything in detail, including history, context and fun stories. We did not feel rushed at all and were able to explore all areas. We added the 1-hr boat ride - worth it to see the beautiful area from the water. The tour is comprehensive, includes visits to a couple of towns and the Guatape rock. Highly Recommend!

Felipe was an amazing guide and so much fun! He was personable and made sure we were having a good time on the day! He knew a lot of the history, constantly telling us stories of the area and fun facts that you’d never learn on your own. He was also super flexible and even accommodated last minute changes on our side - such as visiting a coffee plantation, a stop at a local farm bar and also was able to take our luggage with us in the morning and drop us off at the airport instead of going back to Medellin. I cannot recommend this tour more highly! It was the highlight of our trip to Medellin! A must do!!
