Itinerary
Discover the City of Roses, get to know its attractions accompanied by a professional tour guide, who will show you the secrets, legends, traditions, culture and gastronomy. You will visit the Historic Center and other places where you can enjoy the beauty of Guadalajara, capital of Jalisco.
Tlaquepaque is a town known for its galleries, stores, its historic house and restaurants, during our stay we can taste the food by your own in one of the restaurants of the Independencia walkway, which serve typical Mexican food and gourmet style, then we will visit the typical Mexican candy store which are always considered by tourists a very tasty souvenir. We conclude at the meeting point indicated by the guide and we undertake our return to Guadalajara.
La Minerva is a representative monument of the city of Guadalajara, in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. The central element of the fountain is a statue of the Roman goddess Minerva (Athena in Hellenic culture), and, actually, is the second biggest fountain in the city.
La Estampida, colloquially known as Glorieta de los Caballos (Roundabout of the Horses), is an outdoor sculpture installed in Guadalajara, which represents one of the favorite scenes for taking photographs of couples in their wedding vests, "quinceaños", and graduations.
This architectural work is part of a system of bridges located on Lázaro Cárdenas Avenue, at the junction with López Mateos Avenue, one of the busiest avenues in the city.
The Basílica del Santísimo Sacramento, also known as the Templo Expiatorio of Guadalajara, is a Catholic temple dedicated to the Blessed Sacrament, very much characterized by being the most important work of Neo-Gothic style in Mexico.
We started the panoramic tour visiting the Minerva rotonda, a representative guardian of the city erected in the 50's. We will continue to the arcs of the old entrance to Guadalajara, these are neoclassical arcs of 20 meters high, we head to Chapultepec Avenue, a cultural corridor where we can appreciate one of the liveliest areas of Guadalajara, continuing our journey to Libertad street where we can travel towards the end of 1,800's and experience the most beautiful architecture of Guadalajara. We finish our panoramic tour with the architectural jewel that is the Expiatory temple, a building of Gothic architecture in the city. We begin with our pedestrian route through the well-known "Cruz de Plazas" of the Historic Downtown of Guadalajara, we will continue walking towards the Metropolitan Cathedral, a building that began its construction around 1560, one of the most characteristic and ancient of the city. Then we will go to the Government Palace where we will see murals by José Clemente Orozco and a small museum about the history of the state. We will walk Liberación Square and stop outside the Degollado Theater, home of the mariachi galas held in the city every September, then it's time to leave to Tlaquepaque.
Tlaquepaque is one of the Magical Towns of Mexico, and counts with a vast artisan tradition, where you can learn the secrets of ceramics and pottery. But it is not only its craftsmanship that makes this town so special but also its tourist attractions and its beautiful rustic streets.

One of the best tours I’ve had. Our guide Sergio Novia went out of his way to give us a tour to remember. He took the time to gift us a very special set of pictures, since it was my wife’s Birthday. A special thanks to Sergio and his services. We will definitely be back. ……….
Had a great time with Ronny! Great guided and very informative! Learned a lot about the city and made the tour quite fun.Ronny did a great job, thank you!
We had an incredible experience on our Guadalajara city tour, and it truly exceeded our expectations. What was supposed to be a group tour ended up being just the two of us, and Mr. Sergio Novia handled it with the same enthusiasm and professionalism as if we were a full group, which we deeply appreciated. Throughout the entire day, he shared in-depth history, culture, and stories about Guadalajara in a way that was engaging and thought-provoking. His knowledge went far beyond basic facts; he provided context, answered all our questions thoroughly, and helped us understand the heart and identity of the city. We ended the day with a deeper appreciation of the city and its people. He also generously took photos and videos for us throughout the tour using his own camera, making sure we captured beautiful memories without feeling rushed. That extra effort made the experience feel personal and special. We had a tour guide and a cameraman in one. What more could we have asked for? If you’re looking for a guide who is knowledgeable, patient, passionate about Guadalajara, and genuinely cares about his guests’ experience, we highly recommend him. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip.
It is a really nice tour covering different parts of Guadalajara history and culture. First we were the only couple who reserved the tour on this day and travel company did not dropped us as I heard happening to some other people. This is the first plus! Then our tour guide Norberto gave us the best private tour shearing knowledge of the place, culture, food and architecture. Can’t thank enough of him.
You have to take money, because if you want to buy some craftsmanship you will need the money or some snow, try Chapalita snows, or enter the parian and eat some dish, you do not necessarily have to drink tequila
The town of Guadalajara is amazing with many beautiful sites to see. Our guide, Ronnie was excellent. However, I thought the tour was overpriced, and perhaps the same sites could be covered in half a day and for less amount.

Our tour guide provided us with the history and architecture of the area. fascinating information and he had knowledge of all areas, answered our questions. He was a delightful person and most gracious. We were fortunate to have a private tour.
Hector was the best tour guide we’ve ever had! We were shown the best places and learned so much history from him. We wanted to see Tonal and he had no problem adding that spot to our day! He also recommended the best place for lunch in Tlaquepaque ! I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to visit! Thank you Hector!!!
This tour was a great way to get to know Guadalajara. Our primary guide, Norberto, was very knowledgeable, entertaining, and he really did a great job answering our questions. A highlight of the tour for us was the Museo de las Artes de La Universidad de Guadalajara which has fantastic murals by Jose Clemente Orozco. We were also able to do the walking portion of the tour, including the Plaza de Armas, Catedral de Guadalajara, Retonda de los Jalisciences ilustres and Fuente de los Danzantes with another guide, Carmen, who was also very knowledgeable and entertaining. The tour finished with a laid back visit to Tlaquepaque for lunch and shopping. This was a great tour for the price.
