It is a long bumpy ride and be prepared to walk on uneven surfaces however it is quite worth it in the end.
It was a great experience. Amazing views. The driver and tour guide were excellent. Very informative!!
We loved our experience visiting guachimontones. What a beautiful place with such unique pyramids and lovely views. The museum was interesting and lunch was great. We loved our driver as well as our guide. The van was comfortable and we would recommend this tour.
Great tour with just the two of us, our guide and driver were both fun to be with and made the trip entertaining and informative.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re glad you enjoyed the tour and that both the guide and driver made the trip fun and informative. We look forward to joining you on more adventures soon!
Ramon was very interesting and very helpful and enjoyable. We loved the archeological site because it was so different from the Mayan sites we’ve visited. The on site museum was very informative and I highly recommend the tour if you love prehistory of Mexico.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re glad Ramon was an interesting, helpful, and enjoyable guide. It’s wonderful to hear you loved the archaeological site, especially because it’s so different from the Mayan sites you’ve visited. We’re happy the on-site museum was informative for you. We hope to see you again soon!
Trip departed 50 minutes late, driver took the longest out that had an accident instead of bypassing costing 35’ more to already late trip. No water on tour bus, a bit warm on bus due to stop start choosing the route with the wreck inside of the recommended bypass route.
We deeply regret that the day's experience was marred by the traffic chaos that reigned in the area for 48 hours. Unfortunately, there's little we can do as a company in the face of the lack of attention from highway authorities. We do provide you with water at the begining of the tour.
It was very interesting to visit this historic site and museum. The restaurant where we had lunch was very nice.
This was a perfect tour to the Guachimontones site. I was picked up from my hotel (which was not on the list of hotels in the booking) and we drove about 40 minutes to the site. Our tour guide, Ramon, was very knowledgeable of the site and gave us a good amount of time to see everything. Afterwards, we stopped in the town of Teuchitlan where we had time to walk around on our own and get lunch. Teuchitlan was an authentic town and the locals were really friendly. At the end of the tour, I was dropped off at my hotel. Overall, the trip was perfect in terms of the amount of time we had and the transportation was taken care of. I definitely recommend this trip if you are interested in learning about some of the other indigenous tribes that lived in the area.
Fernanda thoughtfully had us driven to the hilltop to save me the climb given it’s been just 4 weeks since my knee surgery. She provided a comprehensive overview of the site, its history and findings. She discussed the natural surroundings as well as the artifacts and made sure iur tour included the museum and the video in English so that we came away with a good understanding and wonderful experience of the day. Afterwards she stopped at a wonderful tamale restaurant which we enjoyed immensely.
Well worth it, pleasant, professional, lots of info. Our guide was fantastic and knowledgeable. Near perfect weather, views, and histoy.
