Departure times may vary depending on your ship schedule. Meeting point: Grundarfjörður Cruise Port. Detailed meeting instructions will be provided before your tour. We guarantee return to the port no later than 1 hour before your ship’s departure. Our team continuously monitors cruise schedules to ensure a safe and stress-free experience. Please dress warmly and wear comfortable walking shoes, as Icelandic weather can change quickly. The tour includes short walks on uneven natural terrain. The order of stops may change due to weather or road conditions.

Terrible experience and terrible customer service. The excursion had us pay for kids over 6. We showed up with our paid children and our infants. I had notified the provider that we had infants prior to the excursion. When we arrived they wouldn’t allow us to participate due to no room. They would not provide a refund.
We are sorry that you were disappointed, however your review omits a key fact. Your reservation was confirmed for 5 passengers (2 adults and 3 children). On the day of the tour, your group arrived with 8 passengers (2 adults and 6 children). The three additional infants were not included in the reservation. Since Viator does not allow children under 6 to be booked for this tour, your note stating that you had "3 children under 6" reasonably appeared to refer to the three children included in your booking, not to three additional unbooked passengers. Unfortunately, we cannot transport passengers who are not included in a reservation due to safety, insurance and vehicle capacity regulations. Had we been informed in advance that your actual group consisted of 8 people, we would have advised you before your travel date that this booking was not suitable. We understand your frustration, but we cannot provide a service for passengers who were never included in the booking, nor can we refund seats that were reserved exclusively for your party and could no longer be sold to other guests.
