Viator provided us with the wrong info on who would be providing our tour so when we tried to find our tour guide, we couldn’t. The driver made no attempt to contact us or to answer our calls, and it took 40 min to sort it all out. His car wreaked of smoke and was dirty. We were late to start our tour because of the issues at the beginning so the whole day felt rushed and disorganized. Would not recommend or do again.
Dear Lynnette, Tks a lot for your comments, we are taking note of everything, we had a chat with our supplier already, as you know, about the vehicle situation. Regarding your late started as I explain you by email you stay longer on Edinburgh to compensate those 40 minutes, full itinerary was done, visit all the sites as was program Many Thanks and best regards Pilar Gonzalez
Both our driver and tour guide went above and beyond a typical tour of Edinburgh and are very deserving of a FIVE STAR rating. Our goal was to visit Edinburgh from Greenock to enable us to actually spend our Edinburgh day at St Andrews for the golfers in our groups. Worked perfectly & was the most economical way to accomplish this! We are a group of six (fun loving) active seniors. One member of our group has foot issues which could have meant a very limited tour, although not for this duo. We saw as much of the city as our time constraint would allow. We were picked up at the pier for “Greenock to Edinburgh Private City Tour”. During the planning I worked with Pilar at Viator coordinating our tour itinerary who is exceptional! Remember these names: TOP PRIVATE TOURS, Driver/Owner William Mc, Tour guide, Jule.edinburgh@gmail.com. Sure they will make your day as special as ours.
