Your experience begins in Grebbestad’s lively harbor — the vibrant heart of Sweden’s West Coast. This charming marina is our starting point, surrounded by colorful wooden boathouses, classic fishing vessels, and a waterfront lined with cafés, seafood restaurants, and small local shops. Grebbestad is rich in maritime heritage and coastal culture. Before we set off into the archipelago, you’ll have a moment to enjoy the atmosphere of this bustling yet authentic Bohuslän harbor — the perfect introduction to your journey out on the sea.
Our tour area is the “Kosterhavets nationalpark” If you want to our tour is going beyond this area visiting beautiful harbour towns like Grebbestad and Fjällbacka.
Experience the unique charm of Havstenssund as we glide through one of the West Coast’s most picturesque straits. This narrow, winding waterway is surrounded by smooth red granite cliffs shaped by centuries of wind and sea. As we pass through the channel, you’ll feel the closeness of the rocks on both sides, see traditional fishermen’s cottages along the shoreline, and enjoy classic Bohuslän scenery. Havstenssund is also one of the West Coast’s key oyster areas and home to the renowned oyster farm Havstenssunds Ostron AB, adding an authentic taste of local maritime culture to the experience. Guests interested in learning more about oysters can also choose to book a special Oyster Tour as an add-on experience.

- You should be overall in fit condition as the boat moves and goes over waves which can feel uncomfortable if you have a certain body fitness.

Our boat captain, Bjorn, was a fun and interesting boat captain and tour guide. Clearly, these islands are among his favorite places on earth and it showed with his enthusiasm and knowledge of "secret" sand beaches and little walks through a community that looked much as it did 100 years ago. He also asked the "ranger" at the Koster Island Museum to run the interesting video in English for us! I can't recommend this private boat ride highly enough. The boat was spotless and comfortable, with front, top and sides protected...and, if he had needed to, he could have enclosed the back. So the exciting and fast ride parts were very comfortable!!! He also gave us a great recommendation for lunch near the museum and we all enjoyed lunch together.

What a great experience! We booked directly with Björn on Saturday for the next day. It was a super nice first contact. We actually wanted to do the tour in Kosterhavet National Park, but the wind and thus the waves were too strong. Björn offered us various alternatives, and we eventually headed south. A fantastic alternative! We were in Fjällbacka and Hamburgsund and always traveled in the shelter of the skerries. Björn always provided good information, and we had great hours together. For us, it was particularly great that we were the only guests on board and always had a good spot. Absolutely recommended!

Our boat trip in Sweden was an absolute highlight! Even the booking was straightforward, fast and easy. On site we were warmly welcomed by the captain, who was unspeakably sympathetic, helpful and competent. He answered all our questions, took individual requests into account and made the entire tour an unforgettable experience. The boat tour offered breathtaking views of Swedish nature and we felt in good hands at all times. No wish remained unfulfilled – Service, organisation and atmosphere were perfect. Anyone planning a boat trip in Sweden should definitely book here. It was an experience that we will never forget and can recommend without restriction!

The boat tour with Hannah and Björn was the most awesome experience we had in Sweden in Midsummer time. Hannah and Björn love to share their passions: boats, nature, Swedish coasts. You can feel it at every moment. We enjoyed so much discovering their favourite places, in particular the hidden, mystical one and watching birds and animals. Our little dog Toni was very welcome and couldn't have enough of the sunny evening on the boat. The sundown with the incredible light by laughing, eating, drinking and talking about funny things and serious topics like climate and environment will remain unforgettable in our memories. I booked a trip with Boating Lifestyle last summer and it won’t be the last one! Incredibly satisfied from start to finish. The communication was accurate from the captain before the meeting where we were received by a skilled sailor. There were absolutely no pearls in the Swedish archipelago that were forgotten as the captain knew the area as his own pants pocket. The boat was perfect for cruising around the water with the sun in the face. It had a fridge where we were even offered refreshments from the captain himself. There was room to lay legs high and eat a lovely dinner, but also room for speed and excitement. The captain was discreet and professional, plus a crazy good mood with funny stories. He really knows the sea, thinking about safety and how to travel on the sea. Since I am new to buying my own boat, I learned everything I need to know and a little more about boat and boat life. We were allowed to decide completely ourselves if we wanted to take a seat or stop when we wanted to take a bath. The price is incredibly good because what you get, super cool concept when you don't have your own boat and want to explore the coast. This is highly recommended and I have already booked a trip this year. Looking forward to the next trip!
