Was a great experience, our guide Antonis told us very nice impressions, interesting information about the prehistory of Cyprus. He did a great job, was a relaxed day, felt the tour was too short despite the day trip. Should we visit Paphos again, another trip with Antonis is mandatory for us. He supervised the language differences, they were English-speaking and we two German-speaking tourists in the car. Thank you Antonis, we will promote your tour in Austria.
Fantastic guide and alot of nice views. It is a long tip and I recommend that you dont have to much with you, because it is a bit crouded in the car. Bettet to have more space for your legs.
We decided to book this trip to look at the views of the island and villages of interest enroute. The vehicles whilst trust worthy, had too many people booked onto such restricted, cramped and uncomfortable seating with limited views because of the seating arrangements. There were very limited viewing stops and the places we stopped at was rushed. The driver was very knowledgeable and informative, but sometimes slightly incorrect when answering certain questions that we knew answers to as we resided in Cyprus for 2 years. This was a trip down our memory lane.
Great day Driver excellent informative Knew everything “Air conditioning “ was awesome Lunch was amazing Worth every euro Do it
Pick up prompt. This is a lovely day out albeit long. First we visited a dam after meeting up with the other jeeps. We busted several villages and then climbed up into the Troodos mountains which has spectacular views. The majority of the trip was off road and very bumpy. Described by the driver as a jeep massage! We had a lovely lunch followed by wine tasting. Tasos my driver was great helping me get into the jeep during to gippy knees. I would say that the jeep fitted ten but was rather cramped. Would highly recommend.
Amazing trip our leader was amazing from start to finish, the scenery was amazing we went to places a car could not go the lunch was gorgeous would definitely recommend and would do again
It was excellent experience. Our driver was very kind and told us many information about Paphos and all around region.
I can not fault Vassos our guide. He was amazing, fun, knowable and made the experience. I can though fault the booking company Viator. When I enquired about the excursion I could not find what I was looking for, so I contacted the booking company and conducted a chat to establish what I was looking for. Now this was for mine and my wife's wedding anniversary so I wanted it to be special and had specific requirements. Two of the requirements were to visit Omodos and Kykkos Monastery. Also I was look for a whole day tour including lunch. A price was agreed on and the reservation was booked. All the agreed requirements were included and on the itinerary...... Now come to the day of the tour and we find out that kykkos monastery was not on the itinerary and we were advised that they haven't been going there for years. Instead we went to a winery and did wine tasting. This was very enjoyable but not on our itinerary. On returning to the hotel from the tour I contacted Customer Support for an explanation and maybe a partial refund as the tour which included the visit to the winery was cheaper than what we paid. Only to be told basically they have investigated and there is no refund available. Really good tour and great tour guide, just let down as didn't get to go to the Kykkos Monastery. Lack of customer service
Great day out with Yanni driving the 4x4 Jeep around. He was knowledgable and kept us entertained with the odd amusing story. The stops were fun, a waterfall ( not Niagara ) coffee boiled in the sand ! And the lunch break was lovely. 10 people in the jeep made the journey slightly crowded and even when Yanni mentioned the air conditioning was on ( ie windows are open ) it did make for an uncomfortable journey at times, that’s the only downfall in a decent day out to see other parts of Cyprus other than the beach.
This was an excellent excursion. I had initially booked this last minute as something else feel through and was a bit on the fence about going. I am so glad I went though. Our driver Rick was an absolute star. Informative, funny, and generally interested in his passengers' wellbeing and comfort. The tour itself stops off at a lot of key locations in the Troodos mountain range and there is ample time to take photographs and explore each stop. The lunch was also good as were the wines at the winery. All in all it was an excellent way to spend a day.
