Granada Walking Tour The Most Beautiful City in Andalusia Spain

We visited Granada which is the most beautiful city in Spain. We took a walk in narrow cobblestone streets of Albaicín District then we went up to Mirador de San Nicolás, the most iconic viewpoint where you see Alhambra Palace against the Sierra Nevada mountains. This is the place where you find San Nicolas Church at one side on the other side is the Mosque of Granada which is still operational and displays the Moorish history that shapes the city. Whether you’re planning a trip to Spain or just love exploring history and culture. Granada is a destination that will steal your heart.

The guide was fantastic fina

It was a 2 hour walk with highlights from Granada. You can feel the love of the city and it's cultural history. Fina (Delfina) was great, passionate, sweet and cognicant of the physical limitations of the audience. it included highlights from AL Fundok (a hotel from the 1300, the unfinished Cathedral and tombs of Ysabella and Fernenade, also lovely walk through the bayazeen.

Great first walking tour experience with a fantastic guide!

This was my first ever free walking city tour and it was great! We spent two and a half hours (more or less) walking round the historic parts of Granada. Our guide showed us some of the key places every tourist must see when they visit the city including the cathedral, multiple churches, a stunning view of the Alhambra and some other historic neighbourhoods. Rúben was highly knowledgeable about the sites he was showing us and able to answer lots of questions that the group had about Ganada and its heritage. At the end he even took the time to recommend some other places for us to visit and places to eat.

Granada Free Tour by Walk in GRANADA

Incredible tour run by local company by local guides. Very impressive, knowledgeable, personal and charismatic people. We didn’t not even noticed how 2,5 hours passed walking through the thousands years history, seamlessly changing centuries between ancient to modernity times. Love every second of it. Group’s size was pretty adequate, around 20 people, was easy to navigate but we were visiting off-season time. The only thing I will recommend is to use a microphone as navigation through busy streets can be noisy.

Our guide Nacho was...

Our guide Nacho was extremely knowledgeable about the city’s history, but also about general Spanish history and the cultural context of the monuments we saw. He was also extremely patient with a couple of “chatty” members of our group who kept interrupting him and remained professional throughout. Nacho made the tour very informative and interesting, and threw in jokes to keep us engaged. We would definitely recommend the tour for those interested in the history of Granada!
