This one-day historical tour was absolutely unforgettable. We started at Joseph Stalin's Museum in Gori, and surreal is the perfect word. Seeing the dictator's personal gifts, unique photographs, and original furniture — then walking outside to the tiny preserved house where he was born under its stone canopy — was both chilling and fascinating. It feels like stepping into a preserved Soviet time capsule. From there, we drove to Uplistsikhe, the ancient cave city. Walking through those rock-hewn tunnels and halls, knowing that this "Fortress of the Lord" was already thriving in the 2nd–1st millennium BC, gave me chills of a different kind. To think that caravans from Byzantium, India, and China once passed through these very streets is mind-blowing. Finally, we visited two UNESCO masterpieces. Svetitskhoveli Cathedral in Mtskheta is profoundly sacred — standing where Christ's robe is preserved made the entire group go quiet. Then Jvari Monastery, perched above the confluence of rivers, is the perfect culmination of early Georgian Christian architecture. The views alone are worth the trip, but the spiritual weight of Jvari stays with you. History, architecture, and raw emotion — this tour has it all.
Excellent and rich tour. You visit a lot of attractions, but it's so interesting that you don't feel any fatigue at all after such a day. And, of course, during such active recreation as a pleasant bonus, you improve your physical fitness. I am so imbued with this country that I will definitely visit here more than once.
