The City of Golden was the seat of the Colorado Gold Rush and at the forefront of the Wild West, and we have our share of spirits still lingering around to prove it. Your tour guide will tell you the stories of these restless souls as you traverse the town at night, starting from historic Goosetown Station. You'll walk into town through the ghostly parks along Clear Creek then up Washington Avenue for a mid-cap. The second half of the tour will take you up 12th Street, Golden's old white-collar district, and ends in the back yard of the Astor House where you can choose one last stop for a night-cap.

So much fun and we learned so much!
I had a fantastic time on the Golden, Colorado pub crawl/ghost tour! Our tour leader was an absolute blast—funny, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. He genuinely loves his city, and that passion came through in every story he told. He made a point to get to know everyone in the group, which made the experience feel personal and welcoming. The historical perspective was especially memorable—informative without ever being dull—and the ghost stories added just the right amount of intrigue. I also loved visiting bars I never would have discovered on my own, each with its own unique character and history. Overall, this tour was entertaining, informative, and thoughtfully run. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Golden or even locals looking to see the city from a new perspective. An absolute highlight of the trip!
The best ghost tour I have ever been on! Chris was fun, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable! I learned a ton, had some laughs, felt some chills, and enjoyed a few beers along the way. For anyone that visits the Denver area and likes the spooky vibes, this tour is an ABSOLUTE MUST!

Hondo was really fun! I learned so much about the history of Golden and Colorado. Doing this tour at night gave it all a nice spookiness! We will do this tour again with other friends and family!

Great, walkable tour. Host was knowledgeable and had fun stories to tell. Pubs chosen were historic and cozy. A little more time needed at the second pub (5 min) was needed.

Hondo has a natural storytelling gift. He wove colorful details about Golden’s past, outlaws, pioneers, and local legends in a way that felt alive and immediate. He was friendly, accessible, and clearly passionate about the subject. He answered all our questions, made jokes, and even paused so we could take in the sights. The route itself was well paced, never rushed but never dragging. We uncovered hidden corners of Golden I never would have found on my own. The mix of history, humor, and local flavor was perfect. Disappointing. The tour was light on ghost stories and heavy on complicated & difficult to follow narratives of early criminals. Several stories were gory but not particularly scary or interesting. Wouldn’t recommend.
I'm really sorry to hear this but I appreciate the honest feedback. This is definitely not the way these tours are supposed to be led or the way the stories are supposed to be told. The stories should be entertaining and engaging as well as historical. I'm really sorry the guide went off script and you had such a bad experience.
