All of our tour guides are Bay Area Natives, which will help you understand what it’s like to grow up in SF and now live here as grown ups with our own families. You will enjoy an introduction to San Francisco on this 5 to 6 hour tour that includes Neighborhoods like Chinatown, North Beach, Pacific Heights and a trip across the Golden Gate Bridge to Muir Woods National Monument. You'll be driven around the city to see its diverse neighborhoods and geography, stopping several times for photo ops. At Muir Woods, admire the towering redwood trees, and visit the waterfront town of Sausalito for lunch (own expense). Works great for people coming from cruise ships. You cannot book the Alcatraz option under 4 days in advance.

Located just beneath the Golden Gate Bridge, Fort Point gives you a front row seat to the Bay and is a great photo stop. This former military fortification was used during WWII.

Muir Woods National Monument is home to some of the oldest and most beautiful trees in the world. Many of our guests consider this stop to be the highlight of their trip.
The Palace of Fine arts was built for the 1915 Panama-Pacific exposition in order to exhibit fine arts.
If you haven’t chosen the option for an Alcatraz ticket then you won’t be going to Alcatraz. If the option isn’t available to book then you won’t be going to Alcatraz. You will go to Alcatraz if you choose the Alcatraz option. (18 and over must have ID to get on the ferry. 17 and under don’t need to)
NOTE: Admission Ticket is only included if you choose the product Option with Alcatraz ticket. Visit Alcatraz, if option selected at the time of booking. You will be dropped off at Alcatraz at 2:45pm for a 3:20pm ferry departure time. Your time on the Island is 2-3 hours. The actual audio tour is 90 minutes long.

- Our ticket availability for Alcatraz visits is limited, and unfortunately, we are unable to provide any extra accommodations. If the Alcatraz option is not available, it means that all tickets have been sold out.
- If you need help finding additional Alcatraz tickets, feel free to reach out and we’ll be happy to point you in the right direction.

I bought my tickets off Groupon. I can’t remember the tour guides name but he was from Sweden. He was amazing and super funny. My family really enjoyed him a lot. I highly recommend doing this tour it was worth every penny. The time spent in each location was just long enough to whatever you wanted! The bus was really clean and also provided snacks and water. I would do this over again!

This was a great excursion. I wish we had done this instead of the Hop on Hop off bus, which we did the day before. Sully our driver/guide is excellent, has heaps of knowledge which we enjoyed and puts it across is a very friendly manner. The sites are great too, so we really recommend this.

This tour was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to San Francisco! Everything was extremely well organized, and our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire day enjoyable. Walking through Muir Woods among the giant redwoods was an unforgettable experience, and the stop in Sausalito gave us plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful waterfront, shops, and restaurants. The views of the Golden Gate Bridge along the way were spectacular and made for some incredible photos. We also added the Alcatraz tour, and it was the perfect way to finish the experience. Exploring the island and taking the self-guided audio tour through the prison was fascinating. The stories from former inmates and correctional officers really brought the history to life, and the views of the San Francisco skyline from the island were incredible. From start to finish, everything ran smoothly and exceeded our expectations. If you're looking for the best way to experience San Francisco's most iconic attractions in one trip, this is it. We would absolutely book this tour again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Bay Area!
Great overview tour of SF city, Muir Woods, and Sausalito. Very knowledgeable guide - Sully. Timeline for day was a little tight. Could have used a little more slack in the schedule.

The tour included far more sites and information than expected. Sully is an amazing storyteller and kept us enthralled with the history of San Francisco.
