Great experience with terrific views. Have layers of clothes as the weather can be very different throughout the ride
Thank you for your great review! We’re delighted to hear you had an amazing experience and enjoyed the views along the ride. The Golden Gate area is truly one of the most scenic places to explore by bike. We also appreciate you sharing the helpful tip about bringing layers — San Francisco weather can definitely change quickly, especially near the waterfront and bridge. We hope to see you again for another unforgettable ride! 🚲🌉
We arrived early, hoping to be able to get the bikes ahead of time. The guys were very accommodating, professionaland very friendly.. They explained the operation of the bikes quite well and gave us everything we needed to get on our way. The bikes were comfortable and very easy to operate. A very pleasant experience
Thank you for your lovely review! We’re so glad to hear our team was able to accommodate you early and get you on the road smoothly. Providing clear instructions and making sure you feel confident with the bikes is something we always strive for. It’s great to know you found the bikes comfortable and easy to use—that’s exactly the experience we want for our riders! Thanks again for riding with us, and we hope to see you again for another adventure 🚲
We did not book in advance as we were not sure what time we would arrive. Upon arrival we were told they were out of working bikes. I explained that I was able to book online. It he guy working there said their website will take my reservation (and my money) however he had no available rentals so he would still have to turn us away. We ended up walking to another bike rental facility & getting bikes for $40 each.
Thank you for sharing your experience. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration you encountered upon arrival. You are correct that availability can differ between walk-in inventory and online reservations, and it is clear that this situation was not handled as it should have been. If our website allowed a reservation when there were no serviceable bikes available at that location, that represents a breakdown in inventory visibility and communication, and we take responsibility for that. Being turned away after making the effort to visit our location—especially when relying on information from our website—is not acceptable. We also understand how disappointing it was to then incur additional cost and time by having to seek out another rental provider. We are actively reviewing our real-time inventory controls and staff procedures to ensure that online availability accurately reflects on-site conditions and that guests receive clear, consistent information before and upon arrival. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, as feedback like this helps us identify gaps and improve the experience for future guests.
We rented from Viator because it’s a trusted source and I think cheaper. Convenient location to the bridge. Employee was nice and had a good sense of humor. Son and I enjoyed ourselves getting around town on ebikes.
Great experience to cycle over the Golden Gate Bridge. The staff in the bike shop were very helpful especially Yordi
Trustworthy and reliable bikes, great instructions how to use bikes, good directions, easy access. Best price available!!!
With the electric bike over the bridge and still on to the 2 ferry. Nice trip, nice bikes, and nice staff.
Great! We loved going to the Golden Gate Bridge! So romantic! I would definitely recommend! Don’t go to late because if you go at 6pm, you have to be back by 7:45pm instead of 8pm
I was surprised at the performance of the E-bike. When I turned on the assist, it went dozens of meters in a row like an electric motorcycle. We climbed the steep hills of San Francisco without standing row! The Golden Gate Bridge was cloudy and I couldn't see it up there, but the E-bike made it easy. It was fun.
Rude. Terrible customer service. All bikes at Beach location are new but same size and too tall for even after lowering seat. They encouraged me to try and if it did not work out come back. I got a block away and could not stop on a hill because I could not touch the ground and crashed bad. Walked the both bikes back crying, bruised and scraped. Had rented 2 bikes for myself for a full day w/ferry pass and had them for less than 1 hour. In pain for a week, when to the doctor and PT. Was very surprised to see they still charged me the $178.70 I put in for a 50% refund thinking I would split financial responsibility but it was flatly refused with no explanation. No will contact me. Talk about adding insult to injury! UNSAFE and UNCARING!
