Must recommended for Goa beyond beaches!

We booked our trip directly with Mr. Prakash for 4 kids and two adults. I knew that this will be less than optimal in terms of weather, with us trying to do kayaking towards end of April, but after the daily beach runs, the kids absolutely enjoyed doing this. The guides were professional, but friendly and would accommodate the questions from the kids well and after kayaking in such humid weather, we were presented with chilled Frooti! What a thoughtful gesture. I look forward to doing this again! Thanks Prakash!

Great family activity

We had a great time on this tour with our extended family including kids ages 4 and 6 who we towed along. Lots of beautiful birds. Gets hot in April so go early! Tour provider very communicative and helpful. Location is about 1 hours drive from north Goa.

Nice activity alternative to the beach

We took part in this activity as a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children aged 8 and 10. I called Mr Prakash had he explained clearly the process and what would be the best time to go. We started near a main road but we're soon in to the peaceful back waters. We saw birds and the red and white lotus flowers, and a variety of other tree types. The kids did tire a little but it was easy enough to tow them along. At the end we we're greeted by juice, somosas snd cheese balls. I would definitely recommend this activity as an alternative to beach activities.

Backwater Kayaking

Had a fantastic time. Mr Prakash gave us the background context and necessary details before we started the ~1 hour Kayaking tour. The tour guides helped us in spotting pelicans and herons during the session. After finishing the trip we had cheese balls and samosa waiting for us. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a kayaking tour in Goa.

Need to get meeting point sorted out

We had a enjoyable kayak but clearly the meeting point and the boarding area for getting into the kayak are totally unacceptable which resulted in my wife falling into the water. I would also question how safe the trip is given the total lack of English from the tour guide who accompanied the time on the water.

Great experience, by great people

This was a lovely little morning adventure. We booked last minute, and the communication from Prakesh was super. He confirmed our meeting point and met us there - we were early but he was still there, waiting. We were a small group of 5 which was nice. On entering the river you do notice some waste in the water, but we soon got past it. There was a great array of birds, butterfly, and plants. The guide we had was not fluent in English, but he still went out of his way to include us and explain what he could. Prakesh was lovely, chatted to us before we got started, stayed at the car with our few belongings, and on return to the waters edge, he provided sanitiser, hand wipes, a homemade samosa (delicious) and a juice carton. Well worth the money we paid.

Poor unprofessional experience!

We had big expectations for this trip given the trip advisor reviews and the premium price, almost £100 / 12,000 rupees for 2 people, however we were very disappointed. The host was unprofessional and unwelcoming, with a don’t care attitude. We arrived at the meeting point (a small guest house) at the agreed time, no one met us or was expecting us, after 20 mins we managed to get some WiFi and contacted the host and was told to walk 5 mins down a busy multi lane highway to meet 'his boys' doing the trip. We felt unsafe and uncomfortable doing this. I don't know why we weren't met at the meeting point. We entered the water on the side of the highway which was polluted and covered in rubbish. The kayak was OK and we saw the birds advertised, but for much of it you could hear the noise from the busy highway. Fortunately, during our visit to India this was the only time we received poor service and poor hospitality. If you enjoy the outdoors there are much better value trips, we particularly enjoyed a trek to Mainapi waterfall and the Tanshikar spice farm.

"Unforgettable Kayaking Experience at Sal Lake, Goa 🌊"

"Had an absolute blast kayaking on Goa's serene Sal Lake! 🌊 The team's enthusiasm and guidance were infectious - they made sure we felt safe and included throughout. Kudos to their humility and cheerfulness! 😊 The kayaking itself was super smooth, and we were treated to a stunning display of white and pink lilies and a diverse array of birds. It was pure magic! If you're looking for a unique experience in Goa, this is a must-try. Highly recommend!"
