Glimpse into North Korea in 4 hours' layover tour

If you have only a few hours' layover at Incheon airport, why not have a glimpse to North Korea through the border where is about 65km away from Incheon airport. Based on our private tour service, you only need 4 hours to visit Odusan Unification Observatory. You will see north Korean town, school, propaganda village etc which are only 2-5 km away from observatory. If time allows, also visit Imjingak Peace Park where displays Freedom Bridge and Locomotive Train as relics during Korea War. Alternatively, every Monday will change to visit other Observatory without Imjingak Peace Park.

Our guide will meet you up at Incheon airport or nearby hotel and then move to Odusan Unification Observatory.
Visit exhibition hall and theater to learn more about North Korea through photos, documents, models and video. then move to roof top to see North side with telescope available, from here you can discover the most mysterious country-north Korean Village and buildings, farmers and solders in that side.
Visit freedom bridge where about 12,700 POWs return to South Korea, and locomotive train with 1020 bullet holes on it shows us how hard the war was, take a look from roof top terrace where are only few miles from military area.
After tour, return to airport.

Highly recommend this tour to the Odusan Observatory to get a look into N Korea! We were lucky to have Moon Song be our guide, who is very kind, knowledgeable. Moon contacted me via what’s app to confirm our meeting spot (Grand Hyatt Incheon), where he drove me and my son up near Paju to the Oduson. He is very knowledgeable, sharing details during the drive regarding the Korean War, current events and the culture. As we arrived, he gave us a tour of the museum, before bring us up to the deck. He helped us with photos and identifying various buildings and landmarks, both in North & South Korea. We were thrilled with the tour, but the added bonus was visiting Imjingak peace park, where Moon provided context for the war remnants and adjacent memorial park. He also directed us to a great souvenir shop. Afterwards, Moon drove us back to our hotel. I was thrilled with the tour, and found Moon to be a fantastic guide!!!
Moonhak (our guide) picked us up from our airport hotel. He supplied us with bottles of water which was a lovely gesture. The vehicle was very comfortable. As well as telling us everything about the DMZ, he shared lots about the Korean culture and interesting places along our journey. Moonhak explained about the history very clearly to every member of the family and looked after us really well. I would highly recommend this tour.
Jay met us at the airport immediately after we arrived from Hanoi. We were late, and immigrations was crowded, but he was there for us. We drove to the DMZ (after getting a much-needed coffee) in a brand new, comfortable Hyuandi electric vehicle. The tour was clear and concise. We travelled to the observatory where we had a good view of North Korea (and the sound that goes with it!) All in all, the tour was a pleasant experience. It made a long layover in Seoul seem much shorter.
