Description

We're specialists in small sized group tours - we make locals feel like tourists and tourists feel like locals. We are a local tour company specializing in sharing the rich social history of some of the city's most iconic spots. We use fully refurbished ex Royal Mail bikes, and all are named after (often not so) famous Glaswegian women and aim to make all our guests appreciate the city as much as we do. Our routes are safe and take in beautiful parks, rivers and utilize Glasgow's expanding cycle network. If you need an electric bike, please ask us about this as it can often be arranged. Our tours cover the past and contemporary Glasgow, across themes such as history, architecture, culture, and immigration.

As we view this from the outside, we will learn about some interesting artefacts and the historic suburb of Govan

We cycle along the cycle paths of both of Glasgow's rivers and if the mood takes us, we stop off at a couple of points along the way

Seeing Glasgow on a bike

My husband and I had a wonderful time on this bike tour through Glasgow. Our tour guide, Billie did an excellent job showing us around giving us some info and history at stops along the way. Riding a bike a great way to see a city!

Best E‑Bike Tour Guide Ever - Michael

If you’re lucky enough to land a tour with Michael, you have won the Glasgow lottery. We were visiting Scotland for the very first time, and within minutes he had us comfortable, laughing, and learning so very much. Shout Out to our new friend Mark as well!! Michael didn’t just guide us… he adopted us. He took two clueless tourists who didn’t know the Iron Brew; the Clyde from the Kelvin and turned us into honorary Glaswegians by the end of the ride. Michael has the patience of a saint. The bikes were easy to use, the route was gorgeous, and the stories? Pure gold. He checked on us constantly, made sure we felt safe, and knew when to stop for the perfect photo and view. Michael made us feel at home in a country we’d never been to before. He shared Glasgow with such pride and heart that it felt like spending the day with a friend who genuinely wanted us to fall in love with his city. And we did. If you want a tour that’s unforgettable, heartfelt, and full of the kind of moments you’ll talk about for years, book with Michael. He’s the real deal. We’d give him 10 stars if we could.

Operator response

Wonderful ride in Glasgow

The guide Kitt was very helpful. It was a nice ride. I loved that we also visited a distillery for a taste,a technical museum and a museum of art. They had a real Spitfire hanging from the ceiling. It was also cool to visit the University, we could go inside. I want to go back to the technical museum to spend more time there. All in all an excellent experience.

Operator response

Thank you for this - we can't always go inside places but we could on this day so glad you appreciated it :) One of the main things we try to do on your tour is help you plan out your time in Glasgow and also hopefully entice you to come back again :) Thanks for the review!

You’ll thoroughly enjoy this trip!

We absolutely loved this e-bike tour! Three hours was the perfect amount of time to see the highlights of west Glasgow. Don’t worry if three hours seems too much time on a bike, but you’ll make many short stops along the way to break up the ride and Michael (our host) was very knowledgeable of the history of Glasgow and presented in a very engaging manner. I highly recommend this tour!

Operator response

Thanks so much for the lovely review! We're delighted you enjoyed the tour and that Michael helped bring Glasgow's history to life. It's great to hear the three-hour format felt just right and that you'd recommend us. Hopefully we'll see you back in Glasgow for another adventure soon!

Nice but boring

Nice overview of the city but a little boring

Operator response

Hi Antonella, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We're genuinely sorry to hear that the tour didn't meet your expectations. Creating fun, engaging and memorable experiences is at the heart of what we do, so we're disappointed to learn that this wasn't your experience on this occasion. While the other guests on the tour felt differently and left very positive feedback, - we want our tours to be one of the highlights of a visit to Glasgow and Scotland, and it's clear that this wasn't the case for you (well we kind of hope it wasn't in this case!). We'll review your feedback with our guide team and look carefully at what we can learn from it. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts as this will help us to improve!
