After a 1-and-a-half-hour drive on the highway, you will arrive to Girona. Discover the Old Town and learn about some of the myths and legends related to the city. Stroll down la Rambla, see some of the most important plazas of Girona and explore its winding alleys. Will you recognize the construction by Eiffel near the Onyar Houses above the river?
See some of the locations where the HBO hit series Game of Thrones filmed many scenes of its sixth season. Admire the exterior of the magnificent Cathedral or take advantage of your free time and visit the Cathedral inside. Enjoy the local gastronomy and explore the city at your own pace.

I bought a tour to Girona for two people. To spend the whole day there. We were left without a guide and without the passes to the cathedral. I did not like that you told me at the same moment we were talking about getting on the bus. I find it disrespectful. To pay for a tour and end up on another one as an add-on. Quite uncomfortable. I would like a refund to my card or another tour. I await your response. Thank you very much.
Terrible experience - I was on a full day Girona tour. The description says guide is included but it is not and I learnt this at the start. Secondly it says tickets to Cathedral and Basilica included but no one sent me the tickets. The bus driver told me to contact Julia Travel but no one picks up or if they do, not helpful as they are not able to understand it. Recommend booking directly and not via third party sites like Trip Advisor

The activity includes transportation and free time to explore the city at your own pace, as indicated in the tour description. Regarding the Cathedral tickets, these should have been provided as part of the service. Our guide, Sandra, was amazing! Very informative and even when we got lost going back to the meeting point she waited and found us to take us back to the bus! Girona, was a beautiful city and so happy to have seen the Dali museum in Figueres.
We chose the guided tour option. The 2 hour guided tour after considering that the guide spoke alternately in English and Spanish seemed more like a 1 hour tour. We regret not having taken the self guided option which included admission to the Cathedral. It was not included in the guided option.

Our tour to Girona was cancelled abruptly with only a message of prior notice. So we went to the meeting point only to find out there it was cancelled. The ladies at the tour agency were extremely rude and arrogant. Since the tour was cancelled, my mom was asking how I'll get the refund. The lady said they needed to call their booking department so my mom asked the other lady (as seen in image) for the number. She proceeds to say the booking department has no number repetitively, and my mom tried to clarify it with her multiple times. The lady I was originally talking to tells me there is a number and gives my mom a calling card. Then, the other lady says she never said there was no number and not to "put words in her mouth". My mom said that she did (because she really did) and IF she had been recording it, the lady could see that she really said there is no number. The lady proceeds to accuse my mom of recording her and threatens to call security on her. Afterwards, she proceeded to talk badly about my mom in Spanish to her colleague in front of us. When my mom said she understood everything she was saying, she said "I don't care". This continued on for about 10 minutes with her saying terrible and rude things. Even when my mom was not saying anything anymore, she continued to stare at her with an angry look on her face. She only stopped when her colleague finally told her to stop. She never apologized for her actions despite everything she had done and said.
Dear maegann2025, We do understand the frustration you must have felt when, upon arrival at the Girona tour, our staff informed you that we had contacted you regarding the tour not being available, as you realized when they informed you. The staff also informed you about the alternatives available and to contact the agency you booked and paid through in case you would prefer the full refund. I would like to inform you that taking pictures of the staff or recording them at their workplace is illegal in Spain, as it is announced in the office. This fact was advised when the person accompanying you informed our staff member that she had been recorded. Nevertheless, we are glad security wasn't necessary, and the situation was de-escalated. I did the Full Day Tour Girona + Dalí Museum with my mother, who is 75 years old, and it was a very nice day. The tour is well organized, with enough time to enjoy everything without running. Girona is a beautiful city, very worth visiting and the universe of the Dalí is truly unique. Our guide was Nuria, very cheerful, welcoming and clear in the explanations and was very careful with the group, which made the experience even better. I recommend!
