Blaine the guide was phenomenal. She is very knowledgeable and made the tour fun and educational. Mystic’s history is fascinating and something history buffs and those interested in the paranormal would enjoy learning about.
Blane was our guide and was absolutely wonderful in every way! She really knew what she was talking about and was a fantastic, animated, and expressive storyteller, We loved the experience, learned so much, and highly recommend both Blane and Ghosts of Christmas Past Downtown Stroll, We dressed very warm; it get’s pretty cold over two hours after dark!
This was a phenomenal tour! Our guide Kim was fantastic; she kept the tour interesting & entertaining while sharing all the fascinating history and lore of the area. Looking forward to booking another tour soon!
I certainly learned some history I had never known before, and that was quite interesting. The host was good, but she was just a little too long winded for being so cold outside I felt she could have cut out a lot of the extra words and explanations she could've gotten more to the point each time. Maybe it's just cause I was very cold, but I felt she was a little too winded. Although she was very nice and super energetic.
Our host is very knowledgeable and pleasant as well. despite it being 13° out, she walked through the village, making us laugh and explaining us all about Mystic and the spirits
It was a super chilly night but our guide Sia was cheerful, engaging and informative! The stories were spooky and interesting. Highly recommend this tour.
We took the 7 pm tour so we could get the full spooky vibe. It was a very cold December night and got colder as time went on. Despite all that, our guide Kim was full of energy and tales of days gone by. She told stories of European and Irish folklore that has informed our Halloween and Christmas holidays to the present day. Kim also was very knowledgable of local history, some of it very unsavory. Mystic has some very old buildings and the land underneath, of course, is even more ancient. I definitely want to go back to some of the restaurants she brought us to as part of the tour to see their interiors and maybe catch a ghost!
My friends and I went on the ghosts of Christmas past tour led by AJ . He was witty , animated, and very knowledgeable. The mixture of interesting history facts , coupled with some “creepy “ stories of ghosts and death made it super cool and entertaining ! It was an enjoyable couple of hours and something I wouid recommend to others. Thank you AJ!
Dress for the weather!! Loved the spooky stories. Our guide was a great story teller loved the architecture. Downtown is a perfect backdrop for some spooky stories
Jason the tour guide was fantastic!! A terrific storyteller and highly knowledgeable about the area’s history and great at “setting the stage” to get the tour going! What a delight to hear the scary tales but also get a nice tour of the area. Highly recommend that you add this to your Mystic visit. You will not be disappointed and it’s a bit spooky, too. It will get you thinking!
