Itinerary
The true and unique masterpiece of Hellenistic architecture in Armenia is the pagan temple of the Sun, Garni. It is one of the most ancient landmarks in Armenia which has survived since pagan period. A disastrous 1679 earthquake destroyed the temple. It was reconstructed in 20th century.
The monastery complex Geghard or Gegardavanq (means a spear in Armenian) is an outstanding medieval architecture that reached us remarkably well- preserved. The beautiful landscape of Geghard is framed with towering cliffs. Decorative art cut into rocks reflects and explains Medieval Ages development throughout the region. The complex was introduced to the history in the 4th century as a sacred spring inside a cave.
Garni Gorge & the Symphony of Stones: Nature’s Masterpiece Explore the breathtaking Garni Gorge, a natural wonder just outside Yerevan. Carved by the Azat River, this stunning canyon is best known for its remarkable basalt rock formations — famously called the Symphony of Stones. These towering, hexagonal columns look like a giant, frozen pipe organ, stretching down the cliffside. It's a mesmerizing sight that feels both otherworldly and majestic — a must-see for nature lovers and photographers alike! Pair your visit with the nearby Garni Temple, the only remaining Greco-Roman colonnaded temple in the region, for a perfect blend of nature, history, and adventure. Get ready to walk through a geological symphony that tells a story millions of years old!

We booked the tour online and the were very quick to respond, helpful with a variety of questions we had about our trip in general and collected us from our apartment. The tour guide was fantastic, tailoring our trip to our preferences and the weather and teaching us more than we could have ever learned about Armenia by researching alone. Thoroughly recommend
