Our tour guide was very sweet & enjoyable, just would have loved if the establishments were able to have an area for those of us who paid for the tour to have samples of their speciality items to try.
Such a fun experience! My daughter loved all the stops at the candy places. I however, was disappointed that we didn’t stop at the coffee shop which was the only place I wanted to go.
It was a great very fun and informative tour. Our tour guide Jay was wonderful! We throughly enjoyed our tour.
Well worth the cost. Our guide Jerry was fantastic. He incorporated a bit of history of Galveston Island while showing us some hidden gems (food) within town. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time.
We had a great time! Our tour guide was awesome. We were a small group and he made it so fun to see the area and provide history. Every stop was great.
This tour was nothing to pay for. We could have done it ourself the guide was nice but literally just took us to the candy stores and we walked around. Would have been nice if we could have sampled something small from each place. Taffy, carmel apple something other then ice cream which is free for all to sample.
Very nice walking tour with a knowledgeable guide. Jay will give you great advice and some great stories about Galveston history. Spent my money on great jerky & a fantastic authentic chocolate malt with locally made ice cream at the first and last stops on the tour. My granddaughter on the other hand was more interested in the chocolate and candy at the stops in between. Didn't dare be tempted by all the homemade pie shop along the way though.
My kids loved going to all the different shops and the tour guide was awesome and very knowledgeable about Galveston history.
This was a nice tour of the city. Remember to read the description. Besides stopping in the jerky store there were no samples. However, the guide was very knowledgeable and had great recommendations. He told us a lot about the city.
We had a great group of people and the tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. My wife was in a wheelchair and was still able to participate. My daughters loved the entire tour and it motivated them to make some chocolate candy at home. I would highly recommend this tour!
